You need to phone their rooms too, to make sure they're not already home, and check their employment. If they're retired, they're not going to have an emergency at work, for example. Also don't compare their face to the ID card, only the file picture.
I had to go back because he let in an angus that has blue eyes when he let one with black eyes slip in and let the third in with black eyes. Angus’s photo clearly even in black and white shows he has dark eyes.
That and the milkman clearly had the wrong nose 😅
He really killed the grandpa THREE TIMES for forgetting his hat 😂

funnily enough, missing the hat is actually one of the things that can identify him as a doppelganger but you have to confirm and ask about it and stuff and it can be bugged, its weird

Don't forget if someone is missing their hat you can question them on their appearance. The only time you auto know that its a doppelganger is when their file says ALWAYS wears a hat
Remember to call the apartments, make sure the ids have the logo, date and their name spelled right. And make triple sure that they are on the list. And you have to remember to relock the door so they don’t get in

Somehow people have troubles with noses. I’ve watched other people playing this game and many times they let doppel in without noticing different nose shape. It’s crazy, because it’s right there in the center of the face, but… I guess the eye just slips off the nose.

@Beading_Kate yeah! I wonder if it's because the nose isn't really something people focus on? When you look at someone, it's the eyes you focus on. Maybe our brains fill something in? I have no clue. But that's a neat observation! Funny that it's not uncommon for others to miss the nose!
I think it’s because it’s a given that as humans we have noses. So the brain immediately fills in that detail if it’s missing. That’s why most people missed it.

Honestly I think the dopplers have a really tough job, too. Imagine shapeshifting and acting your heart out, having to forge an ID and an entry form every time, just for the guard to take one look at you and press the emergency alarm 😂

@@Meow_Meow_Hurts_Real_Bad nope, the 42 doppelganger (if that's what you're talking about) is meant to "hint" at the answer I believe (if people didn't get the reference) and to my knowledge is completely random, however I don't know for sure and could be incorrect about certain things, all I know for certain is that the answer to the first if the hippie guy's questions (there are multiple) does not trigger the 42 guy to spawn right after if that's what you mean

@@lemonit8958Some details are way too subtle, for example.
A doppleganger may look EXACTLY the same as the original, HOWEVER, other factors of them being dupes are:
A. Lack of D.D.D. stamp for verified entry requests (happened to Hollow when he played the game, when he forgot he managed to let the REAL Peachman (son) enter ALREADY).
B. Erm, their jobs (their IDs may be legitimate as heck, but the original ones may have completely different jobs).
C. Hats (the chars may vary, but there is Alf, who ALWAYS wears a hat, otherwise it isn't Alf Cappucin).
D. ID Nums and Expiry Dates, some of the dupes have valid IDs, but VERY SMALL detail change, their IDs may have been expired, or the original ones may also have completely DIFFERENT expiry dates, but valid IDs nonetheless.
E. Certain Exceptions: Not on lists, BUT are expected to be within the residence due to circumstances, again, it's a very subtle one.
F. Name changes (spelling)

Because I have seen a few people play this game now I was like “NOoOOO you let in two of the same people” and started laughing, my neighbours must think I’m a maniac for how much I laugh when I’m the only person in the apartment.
15:35 was my favorite part! I always like the unique voices for the characters but the clown voice was so funny 😂
the vibe is similar to the Not Them from the magnus archives, but with more (admittedly mild) body horror. the Not Them is more being replaced and nobody else notices kind of horror. one person can always tell and they feed on that fear.

You are reading the descriptions, but you are not looking at the pictures in the archives. The picture in their ID or permit doesn't matter, it's easier to just see the image in the building archives and compare to their face. The blind meme is true xD
