I find myself spending so much time exploring things on this ... for the price, its unbelievable
These entry level keyboards are so underrated, this model actually came out in 2006. I still have a Yamaha PSR-295 which I
have had since summer 2004 when it came out. The PSR-295 is basically the same as the E403 except it doesn't have a pitch
bend wheel, arpegiator or the 2 filter knobs. The PSR-E403 also has 20 extra styles than the PSR-295. I prefer these entry level
keyboars over the flagship arrangers such as Tyros and Genos because I'm more into music production and arrangers are not
really intended for that sort of use but an entry level keyboard is the most accessible way for one to have production quality
sounds in one box. Also as it has USB it can also be used as a midi controller for VST instruments.
Great demo man, Just got one of these, loads of fun.....2020 lockdown, i play guitar and am finding this thing to be an actual instrument, its hilairious. but really good!
I'm a bass playe 30 yrs, getting into the keys this thing is fricken awesome 40 bucks can't go wrong

How do I increase sound of voice to have it louder than left hand sounds. Want a louder right hand. Sow how to reduce left hand volume but not the right. Advise. Thanks

Good reivew. Has this got short cut buttons for voices. I wonder if it's any good for live band performances where you quickly have to change voices/beats etc....rather than typing in the longhand number.
No...maybe there's a work around with the song recorder..
OK. Great review, I bought one of these for the young people in our church. As usual, the Yamaha grand piano sound is wonderful. This must be one of the last Yamaha keyboards that runs on 12volt adapter OR batteries...
One complaint: why on earth do you have reverb on your mic?

Hello, I have a Yamaha YPT-400 electronic keyboard. The same as the one in your video. It hasn't been played in a few years, but I ordered a power cord for it and it powers up and I can see the notes on the display panel All the function keys work, but I can't get any sound at all from the speakers. I hear a little static as I turn up the volume and can see the songs playing, but there is no sound from the keyboard at all. Do you know what the problem could be?

Tanfel Eli hold down those 4 keys while you power it up, brings it to factory settings, but if you have songs stored, you will lose them. If that don't work, I would try electronic contact cleaner on the wvolume knob, they have it at radio shack, it's called tuner cleaner.
Tanfel Eli if that don't work, you may have to get it looked at by a professional service place...they can be pretty expensive.

ITS POSSIBLE THE KEY BOARD IS IN "MIDI" OUTPUT MODE...THAT SILENCES SPEAKERS..ITS EASY TO TURN ON OR OFF BUT NEED TO READ THE MANUAL..

You need to download the driver appropriate to your operating system.
That is a pro grade keyboard if it has filter knobs. Far from being a toy

and e403 doesn't have a sample function like DJX D1 had. It was a joke, but still. Even the newest e463/e473 don't have a real sampler. E473 being the worse of those two.

You are very mistaken my friend. They are NOT full size keys.
What in the world kind of video was this? Instead of a demo of the types of traditional sounds you can get, plus the rhythms, etc., you chose to completely focus on those arpeggiated techno noises and beats. Almost 40 minutes and we still have no idea how the piano, strings, flutes, brass, or anything like those sounds can be used. Terrible video ! No help at all !
