I painted old crankbaits with aluminum 99 cent canned paint then I put 8 florescent orange dots on the back and a stripe on the belly: These were 6A and 7A bomber. My Idea came from fishing experiences ( Crawfish and Shad and I called them my Crawshad bait ) These were always super performers on any rock type area. I like your RED thing. Also: Spinner baits are my number one bait. I always made my own. Thankyou for your channel. I am looking for that old box of never used Wigglewarts.........
Glad you're enjoying it. If you look at my FB page, there are links to some podcasts I've been on, or, participated in. They're 1.5 to 2 hours long. Lots of information on them.
On the topic of red and people giving you a hard time. I wouldnt worry about it. The proof is in the pudding, and like you said it sure wont hurt. Butch brown used to make cuts in his baits for gills and insert red pipe cleaners to complete the look. It was a heck of a process that he went through to create the most realistic bait. If he didnt believe it made a difference he wouldnt waste his time. You cant discount the number of trophy bass the guy has landed. Guys who sweat the details and put a lot of thought into their fishing tend to do much better.
I appreciate that. And, I don't worry too much about the people giving me a hard time about the red....because when it's all said and done. the joke is on them....LOL Their most frequent argument is that red is the color that disappears first as it goes deeper......BUT, I don't think they've stopped to think about effect water clarity has on the color spectrum...they're just fixating on the depth. And, again....the joke is on them..
What scent in the Bang do you us ?
Combo.....Crawfish/Shad. I don't leave home without it!
