I learned a lot from this video…
But specially the difference the usual “Posh Grapher” (with the fancy bags and the latest cameras) and the much rarer “Passion Grapher”… (like Saurav)… the one who really cares and is passionate about his job or his hobby… shares his knowledge with others… suggests (instead of giving orders)… and accepts different opinions (not punishing anyone having different views…)
I struggled to keep up with the speed and the accent…
…but I’ re-watch the video, I “thumbed-up” and I subscribed…!!!

This is the first video i have come accross by Saurav. Subscribed in the first minute. Your passion for photography is showing on your face and you are explaining with all your heart. Your content is on point too.
This video is best example to show that following rules blindly will not create great images.
In this video this kid is standing towards left side of screen.. which makes us feel something is not right.
He should have stood at the center.

My struggle with the rule of two thirds is that camera makers don't make the strongest focal points on any of those planes. The strongest focus is always in the center.

Wow! I liked everything expect the composition of your own video. Stand in center and make frame a bit higher. if you choose to stay at side then turn little to the empty side. Don't include noticeable object on blurry background as your frame has wooden pole. Keep learning keep teaching. I did my part of oversmarting :D
Really excellent video Saurav. I'm getting back to a hobby I love and looking back, the one thing that was never taught well was composition. I naturally can get shots but when I didn't understand why, it became hit and miss. My logical brain doesn't like not understanding.
