I bought it during the recent Sylvie sale and am so glad i did. You are so right that it’s such a nice experience to apply. Can only imagine how the la prairie feels.
Hey, Nikki. Dermacol is Czech cosmetic brand made especially for Barrandov film studios (based in Prague). We have it here in every drugstore. But maybe Brits have bought the company? Don’t know about that..
Would love to see a Revlon brand video. They are underrated and not featured enough with influencers. For a brand that’s been around as long as it has, it must have some gems
Once again you took one for the team, Nikki! I am constantly amazed at your diligence. You work so hard for us to bring us the very best. We all appreciate how much time it takes aside from your busy day job to study/evaluate/review so many products. I look forward to every single video and sometimes watch them more than once because they are so entertaining. You are in fact the beauty GOAT on UA-cam, no question. So grateful for all that you do - although you have cost me a LOT of money since I discovered you. 🤑
I bought the L'Oreal age perfect serum foundation when you did your big foundation haul. It is my favorite foundation! I love it! I also bought the L'Oreal age perfect blurring face primer in 00 Rosy. Love the combo. I absolutely recommend them both.
I have to say that the Chantecaille Future Skin is fabulous for mature dry skin! I don’t usually spend that much on makeup but this is so worth it. After using it for a while, I could tell that the skin care in this foundation was hydrating my skin making it feel plump. I will have to check out the drug store you talked about here. Always looking for good quality for a good price.
Thanks for keeping it reallll ✨ I newly work at Sephora as my second job and you are one of the main channels I’ve been eating up for valuable information that has helped me in this new role as a beauty advisor. Without your Sephora videos that you did, I would’ve been lost cause I have never been able to afford to shop at Sephora as a single mom in this economy especially lol almost exclusively drug store and hand me downs my whole life 😅 thanks for the help and then some. They do let us sample stuff too and that’s also been helpful 💕
Thank you Nikki for your tutorials! I started watching them a few weeks ago. I have been a makeup user since my teenage years. But the makeup rurorial for non makeup wearers spoke to my heart. Last night I used it for my date night with my my husband. This morning my husband asked, "Why were you so cute last night?" It sounds horrible, but if you knew my husband you'd know it wasn't. Made my day! Of course I didn't tell him why. A girl has gotta keep a few secrets.
Thank you much for this well-researched video and all your amazing content. I want to extend my appreciation that you consistently post great content. One idea: I’d love you to do a wear-test on long-wearing/waterproof make-up, where you apply in the morning, provide check-ins throughout the day (in your car, running around, going about your day!) then a final assessment in the evening before you wash your face. I have an intense job where I wear my make-up often from 8am - 11 pm (or later!) and would love your recs on longest wearing foundations, blush, eyeliner, bronzers, etc!
Thank you, Nikki for your integrity and valuable content (no matter what our price point preference is). Your and Mitch’s dedication doesn’t go unnoticed 🖤
Also the Revlon and L’Oréal is both on sale now on Amazon! So you get it even CHEAPER! Thank you so much for this. I’m gonna start calling you, Neo-Nikki that never lets you down! Awesome commentary!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for doing this video. I wouldn't buy the La Prairie because of the cost. I will definitely purchase the Loreal brand. I know this must have been time consuming for you to find an alternative. We all appreciate all that you do.
I was hoping to hear a review about its use on mature skin, so thank you, Betsy! I’m going to order it this evening. Have you been able to find an under eye concealer that works best for you? I don’t wear make up because I work at home for myself, but when I do leave the house I find my under eye wrinkles are a problem when applying concealer and then powder. Thank you! 😊

Just want you to know how amazing you are all around-grateful to have discovered you one year or so ago, when you came out with my favorite brush set with BK Beauty!! ♥️
Nikki thanks so much for being our "boots on the ground" researching foundations that rival or match good pricey products/foundations. Your skin is flawless as well. If you do a skincare expensive brands rival/match ❤❤. Thanks for pointing out the Chantelle foundation, loved & used for years & last fo-ev-er because little product goes a long way. Appreciate you🎉🎉🎉
Nikki, love you and love the L’Oréal age perfect foundation. Thanks for being so supportive and inspiring. My make up today rocks thanks to you. Love you chica!!!
I use the Age Perfect Serum Foundation and really like it a lot. I also bought the D’Alba serum/moisturizer and the hydrating spray you did a Video about and absolutely love them both. Thank you for always looking out for us.
Your skin looks phenomenal! With nothing on it! I'm relatively new here and don't speak up but I got familiar with you through your brushes with Lisa. I have your N17 brush so far. Im excited about this video! I'm 65 with normal skin. No sun spots. Just plain old skin with no botox or fillers. Just doing my best to age gracefully. I had my makeup done by a MUA 3 years ago for my daughter's wedding and what a treat! Have a super weekend! ❤ ~lori from Maryland
I immediately purchased the L’Oréal age perfect foundation. It does have an amazing amount of coverage for how thin and serum like it is. I am 65 with dry skin and it really does provide a skin like finish. The high SPF drew me in even though I use a separate high SPF under it. Picking a shade online is always challenging My face is always many shades lighter than my body so even when I get a “professional” color match I need to bronze it up to make it look cohesive. Thanks Nikki for showing me how to select a foundation shade Love this foundation
I'm excited to try the Revlon! The sunscreens in the L'Oreal don't agree with my skin, so I'm glad there's an alternative. Thank you so much for your hard work! ❤
I love your content Nikki, you have given my 60 year old skin some great tips, ideas and I have been subscribed to you for years. I love buying makeup to play with. I have the La Prairie actually in 2 colors. But I have also been using the Loreal for years and never put two and two together, that's why I must love the Loreal so much!!! I am going to give myself permission to use my La Prairie more, and not just save it for special occasions. I think....Tuesday ..... is a special occasion!! XOXO
I love the Age Perfect foundation and have used for a few years as well! I recommend it to everyone. And I have a ton of high end formulas too. It’s a gem.
Thank you for being transparent and authentic Nikki! My new 7 brush kit arrive on Tuesday and I’m so excited as they are my first brushes of yours. I was on the TikTok Marathon shopping day this last week that BK did and you were awesome! This last month since finding BK, you, Glam Gabi and Angie, I have learned SO much and fallen in love with makeup and skin care for the 1st time in 50+years! 🎉 *** Have you reviewed Clé de Peau Beauté The Foundation SPF 22?? I’d love to also see what your thoughts are on this and if it’s really worth it! My DIL in China swears by it and she is usually a La Mer girl.
After watching this, I purchased the L'Oreal and it is brilliant! One thing about it is that a little goes a very long way. I use half the amount I would ordinarily use for foundation and it covers very well. Thank you for your advice and recommendations!
I absolutely love the L'Oreal Age Perfect serum foundation! I found it about 2 years ago and it is a regular in my makeup kit. I have used the La Prairie foundation and loved it also, when I was using the whole La Prairie line, but I have since found much better skin care and make up at affordable prices. Revlon illuminance skin caring foundation is another favorite of mine. I have not tried the skin tint you featured in this video. Another hidden gem foundation is the About Face Performer. They have Light and Fair Olive shades and the texture is dreamy!
Always doing god send work. I love how you choose a variety of both luxury and drugstore alternatives! You are so genuine, not even trying to be relatable, you naturally are.... ❤ Love your channel Nikki!
So grateful for these deep review videos and the affordable options. As a future suggestion, would you please also include options that aren't quite so moisturizing for those of us whose oily skin doesn't play nice with the L'Oreal and Revlon options? Thank you!
Wonderful video Nikki! What a good comparison between brands, pros and cons... I have the Revlon foundation and when I discovered it, I immediately fall in love with it! I am willing to discover the L' Oreal one... ❤❤❤
Thanks for this video so much. I Have the LA Prairie but it's too dark for me now and I couldn't justify buying another one. Now I can get the Loreal to use and maybe blend with LA Prarie to make use of it. I've also been looking for their "alternative" for a long long time. You are the best!
Thanks for doing all this research. I will really enjoy wearing my L'Oreal Serum foundation even more now! Just wanted to mention that the texture of the LaPerie (sp?) Concealer reminds me of the Gerard concealer that comes in a small pot. I bought mine on Amazon and really like it.
I only recently discovered the L'oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation. It has become my new go-to foundation. I'm glad to see it getting the love it deserves.
Thank u for the time u invest in researching alternatives! My 56 yo, combo oily skin prefers a satin finish because of my oily Tzone and texture. I dont set with powder because it gets cakey. I skip glowy , radiant formulas. I tested the Loreal Age Perfect and wish it was a satin finish because it has a light and pigmented formula with high SPF. Not all mature skin is dry.
You're awesome for doing the research on this, Nikki. Thank you for being so honest about Chantecaille vs. the Revlon & L'Oreal drugstore alternatives. Drugstore is really bringing it lately. It's about ingredients, finish, and how it feels & wears. You nailed it!
Time to add that Loreal foundation to my cart! Thank you for your comprehensive comparison of these foundations. Your recommendations have never steered me wrong. Especially with the seemingly unlimited number of beauty products available to us. You're like my north star✨️
I appreciate you so much & your complete honesty. I still want the La Prarie yet am absolutely picking up the L’Oréal!! Nikki I love you so much, what did we do to deserve you!!
Hi Nikki. You are amazing. I'd never spend the money on the LA Prairie and it's great that you found inexpensive dupes. My only problem is that Revlon and L'oreal aren't cruelty free. But that's just me. I'm sure others will be so grateful that they can have the look and feel for the LA Prairie at a fraction of the price. Thanks for all that you do. I love your whole esthetic and absolutely adore you. Have a wonderful weekend. ❤❤💝
@@SurfingFamilyit’s because although they don’t test on animals in the U.S they pay a third party to test on animals on their behalf in China. Mainland China requires animal testing by law. So if any company wants to sell there they have to pay and allow animal testing. So true cruelty free companies don’t sell in China, so therefore no animal testing.
I'm not. When someone insists on something that isn't true, then I just tell them to look it up. That's all. Simply stating a fact. You can't blantly make a statement when it's not true. Thank you Nikki! For your deep dive and finding us not 1, not 2 but 3 alternatives. The work you put in for your channel and subscribers is like no other. I’m going to buy and try the L’Oréal!
This was a wonderful video. You had me at the Chantecaille. It's oil-free too! Thank-you for giving us alternatives. Not everyone can afford the high-end products. I did get their powder though. I use so little, it will last me for a very long time. But foundation? No way would I buy that. Now we have so many great foundations to choose from that really look the same! Thanks for doing this. You're the BEST! Love U 💜💜💜
I used to wear that Chantecaille foundation and I loved it (have sensitive dry skin). Thanks for reminding me of it. Although I am super excited to hear your opinion on the new Huda Beauty Primer, Foundation and Easy Bake system. Based on what I have seen it is amazing but I want your opinion before I try it b/c I respect your insights so much.
❤ love spending my Saturday morning with Nikki! I don’t really wear foundation because I have dry skin. I’m more of a skin tint girl, but this luxury foundation is very tempting
I have the Chantecaille cushion foundation and I love it. I did buy at one time the La Prairie foundation but the color was off. Now it just got to old to use it.. the powder is also beautiful. Thank you for the great video. I always look forward to your reviews ❤️
Great video as usual! The shade match of the revlon foundation on you is amazing! I am all for the Loreal Age Perfect foundation because I am an oily skin girl that loves her full coverage, long lasting foundation, thank you 😅
Both of those affordable options are heavily in rotation at my vanity and I love them! I do love my luxury brands and much as anyone else if the product is good, but I can also appreciate getting more bang for my buck and LOVE that drugstore brands have been upping their game! Edited to add that the L’Oréal has all of them on Walmart and are quite a bit cheaper, but one other product I recommend from them even as an oily skin girl, the L’Oréal True Match Nude Tint. It has more coverage than I’d expected and is soooo lightweight.
Thank you so much for spending time on researching for us. It takes time and money. We appreciate you! Please make a video on your skin prep before makeup.❤
I tried Dermacol foundation years ago. It came in a gold tube and was soooo bummed. It was GREASEPAINT 😂 that is the purchase that made me give beauty influencers serious side eye…thank you for being you❤
I have and been using the La Prairie for over a year already and I love it but I never take it when I travel because the bottle is too big. Now I have to give the L’Oréal a try since is more travel friendly. Thank you Nikki.

The Chantercaille foundation has been my holy grail for years but I just don’t like the price. Chanel Les Beige is as high $$ as I would go and I do love it. So thank you for some alternatives! The Revlon actually looks the best on you on camera, I think I will give it a whirl 💋👸🏻♥️
I have the Chantecaille future skin foundation in two shades (summer/winter) and I think it's a great foundation for dry skin, which I have. However, I'm always open to other alternatives. So I will be shopping again. Thanks for this great video.
Hello Nikki Love your videos , few days ago I received your set of brushes I have not used them yet , I know you have few videos that you used some of your brushes. Can you do a video using all your brushes and maybe alternating the use of some of them to the use of different products. Thank you for all your videos
Wow! Thanks for doing all of that research! I think Im going to pick up the Loreal. I went onto the La Prarie website last night just to poke around, and they have a new serum that is 1950.00 for 1.7oz!!! And I could not find the ingredient’s listed anywhere! That is out of control!
I loved LaPrairie at first but I found it accentuates pores and fine lines.. I didn't notice the pores until I was in my car and looked in the mirror. The fine lines around my mouth that I don't even notice without make up jumped out with the skin cavier.......but it still looks pretty. I won't repurchase. I still have their blush which they no longer make, it is awesome. Agree about Chantecaille but coverage is lacking and shade matching is tough. Love your posts.
Dermacol is a Czech brand. I’ve been using this foundation for years now and even if I try some new foundations, I always go back to this one. It costs about 13€ in our drugstores and it’s really better than most high end foundations I’ve ever tried. I had no idea it’s supposed to be a dupe to anything, I tried it once, years ago and keep repurchasing it for years now.
I will never shut up about raving about ur amazing videos and how talented u are Please consider sm time to teach us what worth spend money in terms of formulas in makeup ❤

Hey, Nikki. Dermacol is Czech cosmetic brand made especially for Barrandov film studios (based in Prague). We have it here in every drugstore. But maybe Brits have bought the company? Don’t know about that..
It's available for us on eBay and Amazon, sometimes market makeup, never seen it in shops
I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO HEAR YOU! You explain everything no screaming and crazy stuff, i just love your vibe!
Thank you Nikki! That Revlon shade must be your best match ever!
Would love to see a Revlon brand video. They are underrated and not featured enough with influencers. For a brand that’s been around as long as it has, it must have some gems
@@belle.m the lip products are better and ahead of time even compared to my high end brands
Same for Max Factor. Two brands that have been around forever, but don't get any attention.
@@misssunnydee because they don’t spent so much on marketing perhaps ?
Love you Nikki! Found you a couple months ago and I am hooked. I really look to you for product recommendations and how to use them 💕
Totally agree! 👍
Oh and I literally refer people to your channel all day every day 💜 I let everyone know.
I think it sounds so sweet that he said that, not horrible in the least! I bet you looked amazing!! xo
My thoughts exactly! A husband asking his wife why she was so cute sounds lovely to me!!!
Loose powder foundations, such as Bare Minerals and Alima Pure (online) will be your best friends.
Thank you, Nikki! I have been using the L’Oréal Age Perfect foundation for a while now at age 60 and love it!
I can see why, it’s so fantastic!!!
Thank you! 😊
@@RLFinTX I use and like the NARS radiant creamy concealer but have been wanting to try the Natasha Denona one. I also use the NYX Bear With Me concealer serum.
@@betsyhorton1839 Thank you so much!! I will give those a try! 🩷🩷
Nikki-love all of your content! It’s clear going through your comment section how LOVED & RESPECTED you are by your subscribers❣️❣️Myself being one of those people 😊.
Appreciate you🎉🎉🎉
I love when you teach us about makeup and telling us not to spend so much money for someone expensive and not worth it love you nikki ❤
We need a tutorial of this final makeup look Nikki! Or at least the products and colors used. Just beautiful!
I agree! Could you please just link the products that you used in your make up application today for this video? You’re extra stunning 🤩
Nikki, love you and love the L’Oréal age perfect foundation. Thanks for being so supportive and inspiring. My make up today rocks thanks to you. Love you chica!!!
Revlon has so many amazing complexion products. And their Colorstay line OMG!! 😍 I'm an OG fan. It's full of gems and no one talks about it.
I use the Age Perfect Serum Foundation and really like it a lot. I also bought the D’Alba serum/moisturizer and the hydrating spray you did a Video about and absolutely love them both. Thank you for always looking out for us.
Thankyou. La Prairie is $415 in Australia.
😮
$360 in Canada! 🇨🇦💩
😱
OMG!! That is crazy expensive for foundation.
Holy cow!! 😮
❤ ~lori from Maryland
i would’ve guessed you’re 50. your skin is incredible! so stunning
@@pinkfeet518 who is your comment directed towards? Nikki or me?
XOXO
Yes! Be sure to use up your La Prairie before it expires!
I was happy to see the Chantecaille future skin. I love this foundation! I have dry very mature skin and it never disappoints.
Enjoy the brushed!! I’m obsessed with mine!
My L’Oreal Age Perfect Serum just arrived and went straight on - WOW. It’s stunning! Thank you for the rec!
After watching this, I purchased the L'Oreal and it is brilliant! One thing about it is that a little goes a very long way. I use half the amount I would ordinarily use for foundation and it covers very well. Thank you for your advice and recommendations!
I love the L’Oréal. Bought it on your recommendation and looks great on my 68 yo skin. Thank you for all your hard work.
It's so awesome of you to find, research and recommend these affordable alternative options. 🥰
I do use the loreal skin tint. So far it is the best I have used. I can use any of my skin care and my spf and it does not pill. I love it!
Nikki, would love to see you do a full face of K beauty!
I love the l'Oreal Age Perfect and have been using it for over 2 years. I buy mine at Walmart and they have many shades. ❤
Thanks so much
I only recently discovered the L'oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation.
Well said 😊
Nikki, please do a skincare routine video! You have flawless skin!
YES❤
L'Oréal is cruelty free. What makes you think they aren't ?
They're certainly not! Do your research! @@SurfingFamily
@@reneklein6049Wow, what makes you so reactive?
@@SurfingFamilyit’s because although they don’t test on animals in the U.S they pay a third party to test on animals on their behalf in China. Mainland China requires animal testing by law. So if any company wants to sell there they have to pay and allow animal testing. So true cruelty free companies don’t sell in China, so therefore no animal testing.
I'm not. When someone insists on something that isn't true, then I just tell them to look it up. That's all. Simply stating a fact. You can't blantly make a statement when it's not true. I've been researching for years what is and isn't cruelty free. And companies do change their status, but L'oreal isn't one of them. For me, personally, I won't use any products that aren't cruelty free, whether they test here or elsewhere. Im vegan, and don't wear leather. I'm not asking others to do the same. I'm sorry if I offended you.@jeanetteh.9240
Ty Nikki, you really are the best & my favorite beauty UA-camr by far! You put in so much hard work, are so dedicated, you keep it real and are so sweet and genuine. I can’t imagine how much work & research goes on behind the scenes to prepare for your videos! Thank you so much for everything you do!

Nikki !!!! I could not stop staring at your blush on the bk beauty live ! It was the prettiest pink please share which one you used 😍
Yes! And if you used something different than Givenchy Prism Libre today!
Honestly the age perfect is the best foundation I’ve ever used high end drug store lux etc hands down, if they ever discontinue it I’ll be so mad and the maybelline skin tint is my fave too w/o spf for foam no flashback wanted looks. I wanna try that revlon one, I love your recs! ❤
Nikki I’m late to comment on the L’Oréal Age perfect- I just got it today because of your review and wanted to let you know it’s absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much 🎉
I love love love the chantecaille but be careful, it oxidizes like crazy on me.
Get a sample and wear it all day to check for oxidation. But it is gorgeous and feels amazing.
Thank you for your hard work in looking out for us!❤
Would love to see a collab with you and Lisa Eldridge in the future. Love you both!❤️❤️
Thank you Nikki!
Thank you for all of your time and hard work to bring us such amazing content! We all appreciate it 🩵
I have the Chantecaille cushion foundation and I love it. I did buy at one time the La Prairie foundation but the color was off. Now it just got to old to use it.. the powder is also beautiful. Thank you for the great video. I always look forward to your reviews ❤️
Thank you for all your hard work and time to make these amazing teaching videos!!! Your the best 😊
Thank you for your honesty. I always wonder if I'm missing out on high end makeup. I have both of the drugstore foundations and I love them!
Wow, this was great! I checked Amazon for both the Revlon and Loreal and they are out there, full shade selection and great prices from 14 on up.
Just started your great vid but what do you have on your lips….it looks like a very beautiful pink! Pleeeeease share! ❤️❤️❤️
Nikki thanks for making me smile all the time with your videos🩵 today I’m not really feeling that great it’s like a funk type feeling but I’m fighting through getting work done. Thank You so much Nikki 😊 you put in so much work and we acknowledge every bit of it so thank you.😊
The Chantercaille foundation has been my holy grail for years but I just don’t like the price.
Hello Nikki
Love your videos , few days ago I received your set of brushes I have not used them yet , I know you have few videos that you used some of your brushes.
I just bought the age perfect online, hoping that my shade is right. I have super dry skin, so I think this will compliment my skin. Thank you. 🏆🏆🏆
Loved everything about this video!!!!! I would love to see a full face of Loreal 🎉🎉
I actually went to the drugstore and try out the revlon one. Wow that blends like a dream❤
Nikki, you are fantastic for making this video. I will buy the L’Oreal foundation the next time I’m in a drugstore or Walmart. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the great alternatives!!
I love your nail color!!! Can you please share the shade and brand?
Dermacol is a Czech brand. I’ve been using this foundation for years now and even if I try some new foundations, I always go back to this one. It costs about 13€ in our drugstores and it’s really better than most high end foundations I’ve ever tried. I had no idea it’s supposed to be a dupe to anything, I tried it once, years ago and keep repurchasing it for years now.
I will never shut up about raving about ur amazing videos and how talented u are
Please consider sm time to teach us what worth spend money in terms of formulas in makeup ❤
Nikki, another great video! I always enjoy your content and expertise! Love the Revlon skin tint!! I have found it to be the nicest looking tint/foundation for my mature, textured skin. Thanks for always doing the research! ❤️
This is such a great video! I love Chantecaille foundation, and excited to find out about the L’Oréal alternative . People are gonna be happy with all the price points
