Glad you're reviewing this, as I have been following the game on Kickstarter. This campaign has interested me ever since I was a kid, and it hasn't gotten much attention until fairly recently. I was curious about solo playability. I got a copy of March on the Drina, and as pretty as it is, with lots of bells and whistles, it's a game I will probably never play. Not very solo suitable, and I have no opponents for a WW1 board game... Anyway, thanks for the review! Princeps makes gorgeous games. I just wish they'd consider making some for hermit players like me!
This game is set up in two ways. With two players, units are set up in secret using the mini maps or alternating each player placing a unit on the map (which is more solo-friendly). Cheers!
Nice sharing❤
