I really need to learn to look after myself more, have fun and not be too intense workaholic. 😕. Everything to us is a warzone. Challenges, goals, responsibilities, fixing and caretaking most of my life! I come off as harsh, rigid. People don't realise we also have feelings. We are too hard on ourselves. 😕😔 . This was pretty illustrative of how I'm not a "T". I have no issue sitting down and listening to people talk about their feelings. And I don't have that sort of singular drive. Interesting.
The charm vs charisma was my most problem. I always tried to keep to myself and just be independant but got into so much drama and was hated for no reason, finally I tried charming others and suddenly I am not a target. Having attention on you does give you presence but power or status comes from social play it seems
I very much would like to thank you for making content. It has created an awareness of things that I've either neglected, ignored or honestly didn't know existed and has allowed me to increase my own ceiling of potential and to possibly be open to other people.
Excellent advice on making a change in lieu of a break. I am trying to relax on a Sunday and have a huge outdoor project that I honestly need to take a break from because of being physically beat up from doing it for many days - BUT I feel crazy guilty because, as an ENTJ, all I want to do is finish projects. It is like a compulsion: planning, implementing, finishing (repeat over and over through life). The way I can take a break (without driving myself nuts with guilt) is to not tell myself it is a break, but to tell myself I need to mix up my activity with a change. So I worked on the (very physical) outdoor project for 5 days or so this week, then am forcing myself to sit and read (which I love doing and can easily finish a book in a few days). Obvioulsy taking a break from reading to watch ths video! :) These videos and seeking understanding of different types can be life changing, thank you for taking the time to include the nuances of type (in all of your videos). My daughter has INFP as a preference and we have really interesting conversations because neither of us can imagine having each other's dominant type! INFPs=Fi dominant (Te inferior/shadow) and ENTJs=Te dominant (Fi inferior/shadow).
I can so relate to that. I am an ENTJ, my daughter is an INFP. Her strong FI drives me crazy. My strong TE pisses her off! I want to find a solution to the problem and fix it NOW! She needs to get into the "right frame of mind" to tackle a problem. Aaargggg!
Nathan! You did it again! It is so true! Outstanding how you manage to figure us out! 😉 Love your videos!😊 Charm is a tool for every type! For ENTJs...requires: practice and patience! WARNING: some characters require a lifetime of patience! 😂 But once you get it right, you will see it pays off and then it will be your second nature as we see it as a win-win situation. If we don't see the win, we won't engage. As we grow older, we start understanding that over working in one direction not necessarily pays off and looking for things you really love will bring you loads of satisfaction. I believe, as an ENTJ, it is our nature to be DOERs and we can be discussing one thing today and the next day we have the whole vision/planning in place...we know what to do! As simple as that! (which can be too fast for other personalities). No matter if we need to spend 20-24 hours per day to achieve what we want to do.. we will do it. In terms of neglecting, it involves our physical needs, emotional needs and interpersonal dreams ( if we still remember them). We are extremely rational... no matter if it hurts ( and if it does, we won't admit to no one). I wonder if there is an ENTJ here who can admit that finishing a relationship with a boyfriend/ girlfriend did hurt and told that to that person and people around)????
Excellent comment! If you haven't already, feel free to check out our discord (the link is in the description), I've already seen quite a few ENTJs on there and it has been interesting talking to them. Feel free to message me if you're ever on there ~ Nathan
I know ENTP videos get irregular views but could you do another? You seem to understand ENTPs in a diffrent way than other people and i like your way of thinking!
My husband is getting this link! He's an "ENJ" (he took the test & didn't get an "F" or "T", he said that was because he was "perfectly balanced") but I think he's an ENTJ, this video describes him pretty accurately. Thk U!!💚
Studying the cognitive functions is a nice thing to change the focus of the mind to something more lightweight, yet still self improving and possibly beneficial towards other people. Unless our logical and brutally honest approach gets us into trouble with people who somehow do not value this at all... In that case it is a difficult balancing act ... even with loads of "charm"...
I get hospitalized every school year for being an entj and lost a lot of people in my life for the same reason :) Thanks for making this video, you made things so much clearer for me now. I just hope I don't think of self care as a task or something I have to do to get good grades wooh good luck to me i guess. Looking forward to more of your entj contents :)
2:25 When I was younger I would work for 3 days straight with no sleep at the extreme end, on multiple occasions. Stopped that after ending up the hospital and suffering from stress induced panic attacks for a year. I work a bit smarter these days.
Brilliant Nathan. … so down to the profound issues for this type. … I know one well and as we talk I can almost stutter trying to avoid her judgment and obvious critique. Feels like her saying, get to the point and I know all that. And then picking a weak point she feels she must correct!!! So difficult since we are total opposites and yet I sometimes feel her competitive envy esp with regard to my sense of design and creativity. ISFP here. .. she’s not easy, but I can appreciate her thinking.
That video already exists! Just look it up on the channel, there should be an INTP playlist that will just go through every episode for each type ~ Nathan
Love Who After I wrote this message I found this video.🙃 But to be honest, I am not very satisfied of this exact video. Don’t think that I’m ungrateful, it’s good and I like your videos, but something is missed.

I don't know what it is but I intuitively trust you and will put these tips to work especially the charm thing. Some things come naturally with time I think but no harm done in moving it along a bit
I never understood what you meant by ENTJs not being in touch with what is actually important to them on a deeper level (because they lack Fi). As and ENTJ, I feel I am the opposite. I looked back over my results and saw I am actually 49%Fi vs 51% thinking, so I'm quite high on Fi for an ENTJ really. Its amazing how accurate this stuff is!
Hi! One of your long time subscribers here!! First off, I really appreciate this lovely video! I related to everything on this video and they are really sound advices!! I would really love it if you could please make more videos on ENTJs though... I really enjoy your insights and advice, your videos on mbti types are one of the best I've come across!! It's pretty rare to see channels with analysis and advices this well thought out and on point! But there are relatively very small amount of videos on ENTJs on your channel and that makes me very sad. Hopefully you can read this comment and I look forward to seeing more videos on us! ❤️👍 Keep up the good work 😊
I will definitely make more ENTJ videos as time goes on, apologies for the long intervals between ENTJ videos! Thank you very much for this comment ~ Nathan
ENTJ’s have INTP unconscious so they get the observation understanding of the values of other people automatically but conscious effort to do this may not go well. The key may be for them to have an optimal Ni goal that feels like it has high standards of values Fi. This will attract people who will charm the ENTJ and they will get a clear image of the values people have around them. Either to improve relationships or to ensure you’re not in a bad environment. The issue ofc with ENTJ’s is their perfectionism could make any issue seem like a bad social environment for them. ENTJ/ENFJ is perhaps the most stable of their 4 subtypes but sacrifices Si comfort and habitual sentiment. But who needs that anyway. If I could pick I’d certainly be a ENTJ/ENFJ given the choice
There is a rule in nature that nobody likes to play if they can't win 30% of the time. An ENTJ who is perceived as "always winning", will end up left to his/her own devices. That's kind of a loss...
Well, it's simple. You will have to seek the answer in MBTI, for now, such as you notice the parallel between ENFJ and ESTP, as an example. Then, you compare INTJ and ENTJ, with swapped dominant loops. Then you see how rationale translates to reality, compared to having free will, having self-interest, but losing motivation over time, irrespective of workload unless you see the metric somewhere rising. Here are some across-the-board weaknesses/things one may lack, or which are not functioning in a manner which is mutually beneficial, as a baseline: 1. Family, 2. Intimate relationship 3. Machiavellianism (usually auxiliary function - but that's a personal conclusion), lie and deceits and lying for your 'positivity', and for power, 4. A sociopathic meta-narrative based on one or many such deceits, from which people derive their ideologies to judge who is going to have a dark side. 5. finance, 6. A job, 7. Doing what motivates you most. 8, moving up the dominance hierarchy, based on comparing status. 9. Making sure you have prepared to avoid being spontaneous and paying attention when someone talks, even if he is being deceitful. Actually, I repeat. Do a closer analysis of MBTI. For instance, you can use C.S. Joseph to compare ENTJ and ESFJ. It's interesting to try drawing new conclusions, and derive a deeper understanding, which can keep you more motivated - that's another weakness, btw. There's quite a lot, and people will learn to use them against each other. At the end of the day, what matters is how driven you are, how content you are, how free you are, yet you can be as content as a moron, and as desperate as a bastard, as much as low-key lacking motivation as any person who is conscientious, and potentially high in negative emotions. After all, the eudemonic experience comes henceforth, as much as passion is the romance of the intellect/free will/ego and contentment. That is my observation. And you can infer much more on your own.
@H.J. That’s a distinct possibility but I was just joking, I don’t really think that ENTJs are unbeatable or that there should be a video on how to beat them.
I can't believe this video was almost 5 mins long and not a single mention of ENTJs trying to feed other people as a way to forge that pesky Fe! Come on! That is the most reasonable and efficient way to make someone like you! 😆😅😂
😆 my boss always does that. I tryed to reject it at first. I don't like accepting food from someone i don't know know well enought. But she always got mad and upset when i do that. So i went with. Accepting it now 😩 Been throwing it away for a little while carefully when no one see. Now sometimes i even eat it
We dont ususally know how to access FE very well since it is our polar and weakest function. It takes alot of practice. Things are important to others emotionally tend to escape me completely at times.
There should be instructions on how to date ENTJs, like a boyfriend alert: warning, just because she works hard doesn't mean she's ignoring you; she's sincerely ambitious.
@Matt Poe That would be true for an INTP. INTJs execute just as well as ENTJs. So, as an INTJ, I will gladly keep my smirk as I continue to silently execute my company's vision with way more strategy than you ENTJs.
@Matt Poe Are you sure the plan typically you entjs bring out is to prevail in the long race? The best possible deal punched under a certain circumstance isn't tantamount in significance to that which is filtered through a process of seeking implications. During making the "extraneous" efforts devoted to carrying out something, intjs may revisit the principles and values and how those add up to the purpose of the act. The above process is essential because an intj may not hope the outcome of the efforts in spite of its successful results isn't somewhat a throwback in the general progress of other realms (if that should be the case, then what can be done to authentically compensate)...
@Matt Poe An ENTJ's execution usually leaves countless gaps and mistakes along the way. Mistakes that will, eventually, need fixing and thus require more time. An INTJ's ability to see a bigger vision and concoct with "urgent patience" an execution plan that reduces this margin for silly mistakes compensates for the ENTJ's advantage in being action-oriented and faster in execution. In essence, it is as you said, we both get shit done, and effectively too, just with different approaches. As for the charisma, that would be true for most INTJs. However, on a personal note, I'm an INTJ that could EASILY pass as an ENTJ. I'm effective in communication, public speaking, and building business relationships. Most people call me a liar when I tell them I'm actually an introvert. In short, I know an INTJ's weaknesses but, as an already mature INTJ, I've taken action to fix them, as I love doing with pretty much everything in life. PS: I'm the CEO and solo-founder of a growing tech company and I truly respect ENTJs. Would love to have them running some aspects of my business some time down the road.
Hey there, I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. I am an ENTJ myself and ironically I find it very hard for me to be able to function as efficient as I believe I can, these tips are very very helpful, and I hope you can give more tips on how to properly win as an ENTJ, thank youu

I really don't comment on too many videos, but this really helped today when I was being too harsh on myself and spiraling in some sense. Thank you
I’m sending this to my Boss. He’s a classic ENTJ.
oh oh good luck! :D hope he is not uncomfortable with being found out ;)
While the ENTJs are over there winning... or, continuing to win, I shall create for them a ballad loudly bemoaning the power of people's preferences
I very much would like to thank you for making content. It has created an awareness of things that I've either neglected, ignored or honestly didn't know existed and has allowed me to increase my own ceiling of potential and to possibly be open to other people.
I am an INTJ but I still found this very relatable lol.
Me too
Yes sis, I just said that before I saw your comment!

That makes a lot of sense since these types are pretty similar ~ Nathan
These videos and seeking understanding of different types can be life changing, thank you for taking the time to include the nuances of type (in all of your videos).
I can admit that and I have. And I do cry, but not that long. A good quick cry and then get on with it!! LOL! What is the point of wallowing???
Excellent comment! If you haven't already, feel free to check out our discord (the link is in the description), I've already seen quite a few ENTJs on there and it has been interesting talking to them. Feel free to message me if you're ever on there ~ Nathan
I know ENTP videos get irregular views but could you do another? You seem to understand ENTPs in a diffrent way than other people and i like your way of thinking!
Yes I'll be doing plenty of ENTPs over time, apologies for the long intervals in between ENTP videos ~ Nathan

My husband is getting this link! He's an "ENJ" (he took the test & didn't get an "F" or "T", he said that was because he was "perfectly balanced") but I think he's an ENTJ, this video describes him pretty accurately. Thk U!!💚
I asked my husband what he thought of the video. His reply: "That seems about right."

Studying the cognitive functions is a nice thing to change the focus of the mind to something more lightweight, yet still self improving and possibly beneficial towards other people. Unless our logical and brutally honest approach gets us into trouble with people who somehow do not value this at all... In that case it is a difficult balancing act ... even with loads of "charm"...
been waiting 4 this forever!...FINALLY! FINALLY!

I get hospitalized every school year for being an entj and lost a lot of people in my life for the same reason :) Thanks for making this video, you made things so much clearer for me now. I can’t describe how that short video helped me to clarify my Love and Hate Relationship with my personal work… Thank you so much!
2:25 When I was younger I would work for 3 days straight with no sleep at the extreme end, on multiple occasions. Stopped that after ending up the hospital and suffering from stress induced panic attacks for a year. I work a bit smarter these days.
Implying an ENTJ needs to be told how to win.
@Vinni Al-Ambrosee its arrogance, a common source of downfall for us Entjs. It would cease though the more an individual grows out of it.
Brilliant Nathan. … so down to the profound issues for this type. … I know one well and as we talk I can almost stutter trying to avoid her judgment and obvious critique.
Feels like her saying, get to the point and I know all that.
And then picking a weak point she feels she must correct!!!
So difficult since we are total
opposites and yet I sometimes feel her competitive envy esp with regard to my sense of design and creativity.
ISFP here. .. she’s not easy, but I can appreciate her thinking.
Waiting for the same format for INTP.😊
Need some cool insights from you, it’s very helpful.
That video already exists! Just look it up on the channel, there should be an INTP playlist that will just go through every episode for each type ~ Nathan
Love Who After I wrote this message I found this video.🙃
But to be honest, I am not very satisfied of this exact video. Don’t think that I’m ungrateful, it’s good and I like your videos, but something is missed.

Good choice of a title. To win is an attractive keyword.

Can you make some enfj videos? No problem if you can’t! But I am personally an ENFJ and I would love to see some of your videos on ENFJ’s! Love the video btw!
I don't know what it is but I intuitively trust you and will put these tips to work especially the charm thing. Some things come naturally with time I think but no harm done in moving it along a bit

Great advice!!!
I really felt that
Good! Hopefully you got something worthwhile from it ~ Nathan
Once again, bravo!
Why thank you... ~ Nathan
Overworking was a correct point. I overwork for a week and I regret 1 day of being a dumbass sitting at home. Loop.
Keep up the good work 😊
I will definitely make more ENTJ videos as time goes on, apologies for the long intervals between ENTJ videos! Thank you very much for this comment ~ Nathan
Are you sure you're not an ENTJ?
You understand this type more than an ENTJ does!
Me: bored on working, called my friend for meeting
BY TEORY yes, but in action no... it look so look a liked but, the brain neuro cell activities from take action and process is
totally different
I like that your wearing a Darth Vader shirt for this ENTJ video.
My question before seeing the video: How to lose as an ENTJ?
There is a rule in nature that nobody likes to play if they can't win 30% of the time. An ENTJ who is perceived as "always winning", will end up left to his/her own devices. That's kind of a loss...
Or how to beat an ENTJ if such a thing is possible.
@H.J.
That’s a distinct possibility but I was just joking, I don’t really think that ENTJs are unbeatable or that there should be a video on how to beat them.
Genuinely considered titling this video with that ~ Nathan
Thank you for making this

Wait, ain't ENTJ already winning?

I can't believe this video was almost 5 mins long and not a single mention of ENTJs trying to feed other people as a way to forge that pesky Fe! Come on! That is the most reasonable and efficient way to make someone like you! 😆😅😂
Don't we have Fi...?
@@Goldielcks we do! It usually comes out when we call other people mean and devote ourselves to ice cream and solitude 😉
Oh wow... this explains a lot actually. Looking forward to whichever meal you're going to make for me when the time comes ~ Nathan
Have to admit, I love overworking! I used to work 60-72 hrs a week, felt so alive ... then my ex became my ex. Oops! Nathan, you may have a point.🤔

ENTJs are already the best, don’t need advice.
The bumbling entj is easy to overreach.
-intj with a smirk

It's weird because I know that I have to give myself time to rest and when I finally do, I feel like I'm failing or being lazy. I tell myself off for relaxing and then get straight back to the work.
At least I tried right?
This is agreeable. I do this most of the time and all i can say is: as long as you could say you have rested, then you definitely did rest.
