Thomas Frank gives great interviews. If he ever has time between coaching jobs I would love to see him in the booth as a pundit. Great eye for the game and very honest and straight forward.
I really think these sort of games prove how good the premier league is now. A game this tough and they’re sitting 14th in the league, Ipswich 19th and they’re giving the top teams a good game. Beating Chelsea 2-0. The quality has improved massively
Until Ipswich played Arsenal the bottom 3 newly relegated teams were very disappointing. The quality of the league has gone up, but as a consequence the newly promoted sides are increasingly struggling and almost always tipped to go straight down again which is a shame. There are teams slightly above them in the table that deserve a good relegation, but they avoid it because the newly promoted sides are so poor. The relegation scrap used to be exciting, but it hasn't been for about 3 seasons now.
@HaytersTV the chance is low but if Pep really want to take a break from coaching, I would love to see Thomas Frank managing City. His positional-play, attack-minded football with a high defensive line and discipline suits them. Other clubs that I would love to see him managing are PSG, Bayern, Dortmund, or even Barcelona.
Cannot stop looking at the bags under his eyes... Definitely works hard for his Brentford team... Hopefully, he doesn't burn himself out from how demanding the prem is these days..

Sean I agree Brentford did play well but I do not like to see physical assaults on Arsenal players . Perhaps it is also worth pointing out that the Arsenal players were more skilful which is not too surprising.
They a really good difficult team to face he said exactly what I was thinking in terms of chances they had similar positions but just lacked the finishing or decision. In the final third to threaten more they played out from the back just as good as us. So glad to get 3 points at a difficult place to play
This man is impossible to hate! 😂 he's a great coach, speaks the truth and gives credit where it's due. And what he's done at Brentford is truly astonishing (respectfully)
Respect to Thomas Frank as an arsenal fan.His team's defensive organization was superb in the first half arsenal had to dig deeper physically, the goals in the second half were not easy either.Hopefully Arsenal can win atleast 14games to have a real sense of winning the title.
Definitely, I like him a lot! BUT … like many other managers who coached an underdog team he only proved to master underdog tactics: being lethal on the counter attack. Can he do dominant football, can he coach a team that wants to have the ball, not win it and then attack with two or three touches? He wouldn’t be the first to overreach his potential here.
Frank was lucky when he first faced Arsenal when 5/6 players from Arsenal were stricken with covid. It was their first game back in the EPL for decades so the crowd were up for it. Ever since then, Arsenal has been breaking their hearts. Arteta does not forget, does not forgive!
