My Ranking:
1-Resident Evil Apocalypse: Not great filmaking but I dunno, love everythin' about it. Fast paced, engaging, dated in the most early 2000s way (nostalgia hits hard haha)
2-Resident Evil 1- Nice soundtrack, kind of misses on the action, but makes up for with atmosphere.
3- Resident Evil 3- Cheap Mad Max rip off, but that crow scene... chills 6/10
4- Resident Evil Retribution- Eeeh this is where its just went downhill... 4,5/10
Haven't watch any after the fourth. For what I saw, its a tie btween Final chapter and Welcome to Raccoon City, both look like dumpster fire flicks haha

I swear resident evil apocalypse will always be my favourite, "GTA motherfucker" will always be what I first remember about it. I need to see welcome to raccoon city still though

Nice, this would be one of those near impossible things for me. I don't include the animated ones, don't have any of them. But as for the 7, as I said, this is one of the few franchises I'm a blind unapologetic fanboi to the point of not being able to see any wrong, mainly because of the fact the first 6 did nothing wrong LMAO (Willing Blindness Happily Activated...lol). The newest one Racoon City would be my number 7, I don't suffer the same fanboi blindness on it. NOT that it's bad, none of them are to me and I do own all 7 on Bluray and happily so. I can say I have racoon city as number 7 and the original as number 1. the 5 in between is where the problem would come for me. I feel like number 2 would be my number 2. but 3-final chapter I just can't honestly place. Safe to say I idolize and adore the 1st 6 with total worship LOL. and 7 I like just fine. And since it would cause me too much distress trying to identify anything wrong with any of them. I hereby retain and claim my Fanboi status as a RE minion without reservation. lol. Fun list. Especially since I replace any criticism with the phrase "It's a complete masterpiece". Always makes any RE list highly enjoyable to me. lmao.

I have a treasure hunter ranking at the end of the month which features Indiana jones, uncharted, national treasure, the mummy and Pirates of the Caribbean. 17 films, It's hosted by spc unleashed. So I'll put out the mummy trilogy next with the Scorpion King attached

i think if you played the games regularly you would have list the second movie as the best one as that was closest to the games( until welcome came out at least but with that one the most complaining i heard about welcome to racoon city was how they turned Leon into a sidekick clown

Exactly. Apocalypse and welcome to racoon city are easily the best adaptations BUT the original 2002 film is just a damn good movie, even without it following the games very much
