The books are fantastic. They were written by a former CIA operative, I think. And they are a lot darker than any Black Widow movie would have been.

Say what you will, but this is a GREAT trailer. Why are there so few like this? This first scene - basically everything that happens, happens on Jen's face. You get to know nothing about the plot but a lot about the character. Then just a few of beautiful shots to set the atmosphere, let you get a very brief idea of the plot and get you to see Jen's character in the "business" mode, face cold and detached.
This is a masterpiece. I actually doubt the film itself will hold up to the standard set by this trailer, but this has whetted my appetite, and I'm gonna see it anyway. Marvellous work.

I wanted to say that Dominika is not Russian name and Veronika is Russian one. But then I looked in the dictionary and found that Dominika is old-Russian name... O_O
I think it was a nun name. Many rare names as Arkady, Yuvenaly, etc. were used as monk names only. Some of them (Gennady, for example) became popular later.

Pinky well in an interview for mother she said that after some scenes she had to go and listen to christmas songs to cheer up. Which means she was very into her character. Besides she didn't win an Oscar for fame.
