    No doubt about it the T7i is a nice camera but the lack of a battery grip has me jumping ship. I have owned over the years a 10D, XTi, T2i and currently a T3i. I almost upgraded but because you removed the battery grip option I have decided to go elsewhere. Right now I am pretty much set on a Fujifilm X-T2.

      Sl2 is cheaper and can do 60 fps at 1080p, while the T6i can't. The T6i is older and uses an older processor, I would recommend the Sl2 if you have a low budget, and the t7i (Not the t6i) if you want to pay a little more.

      All of the 45 AF points are cross-type, so they will all allow you to capture very sharp portraits, however, much will depend on the lens you're using, as not all lenses will take advantage of this AF system. I just got this camera which is called 800D in my country however I see that at ISO 200-400, the image is very dark and unless I go up to ISO 2000 it doesn’t comes normal.
    As per my knowledge this is not normal, can you help me in anyway?

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  6 років тому +1

      Hi there! If there isn't enough light for an adequate exposure at the current aperture and shutter speed you have set or the camera is capable of using for that image, increasing the ISO speed to compensate may be necessary and sounds normal. To keep the ISO speed lower, you'll need to use a larger aperture or a slower shutter speed. However, keep in mind that doing either of those may have undesirable effects too, such as a more shallow depth of field or motion blur and camera shake. We hope this information helps!

    it is getting really hard for the brands to really present a need for higher tier Cameras, this is an advanced entry level camera yet it is so close to the high end APS-C... the extra features on the higher end cameras are justifying a little less every time the price gap.
    On the other hand i have myself a T3i, a 18mpx camera that can take really really sharp photos with such high quality. If it wasn't for the Video Features and the poor high ISO performance (above 800 T3i can't bring any quality except for family photos) i wouldn't even consider to move to the T7i despite the new model having such extra features and 24mpx.

    This was the first camera I bought maybe 2 years ago. I only shoot in manual but my vision isn’t the best to trust manual focus. I’ve noticed because of buffer some pics are out of focus and others are locked on but come out of focus when I go into editing.
    I’ve missed tons of great captures because of this and I’m now thinking of upgrading. I usually run a basic 1.8 50mm and do my best to focus but on cameras like the A7iii, Canon R and R6 and even the older canon 1D has better focus for me. Any tips?
    I’ve started professionally taking photos with my T7i but I feel as if I’m outgrowing it

    It is cropping video or not

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  4 роки тому

      Hi Mahesh!
      The basic movie recording of the EOS Rebel T7i does not display a crop as you may see in some cameras that shoot 4K video. The T7i does have a Movie Digital Zoom feature that allows you to record with a 3x to 10x digital zoom. You can find more details on page 278 of the EOS Rebel T7i instruction manual. Here is a link: Canon.us/hv52
      Our support team can answer any additional questions you may have. They can be reached at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm ET. Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm ET, excluding holidays.

    Can somebody tell me that this autofocus works whith a Gimbal?

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  4 роки тому

      Hi Luis:
      The camera has different versions of auto focus depending on whether you are recording still images or movies. If you are asking if the camera’s auto focus can be controlled by control knobs on a particular gimbal model, you will need to verify this with the manufacturer of the gimbal in question.
      We hope this is helpful.

    CANON!!! let us shoot stills while recording with the 80D. You might not realize it but you're introducing more physical pain to me by not allowing it because of my disabilities. It's frustrating you guys just take out features that were completely fine
    You guys respond and care about innocuous comments but something like this people never pay attention to. Shame....

      @CanonUSA  5 років тому

      Hi! The EOS Rebel T7i, known internationally as the EOS 800D, has power-saving features that can turn the camera off if it has been idle for a set amount of time. You can make adjustments to these in the camera's menus.
      We hope this helps!
