Love the song, love the album, love the band. So glad I got to see them live the one time I did. Met Keeley and he was super nice. (Met Maura as well, since Bella Lea/Ambulette was opening.)
This is a great track.. this is primarily why I bought this album... God damn-it, I really wish they kept going.. The self-titled album after this was even better... :/
I'm trying to make sense of this jumbled attempt at a paragraph... is this guy trying to say that Sparta sounded more punk than At The Drive-in? When did Sparta sound punk?...at all?

I can remember seeing Engine Down back in the 90s, they were way better then.
"Under the Pretense of Present Tense is easily one of my favorite post-hardcore albums."
And how.
I love them!!!!

Best band ever :(
No no my friend, sparta reminds you of Engine Down. ;)
I wish there were tabs for this song, I can't find them anywhere and I suck at tabbing so I'm kinda stuck.
@magnificentbastard27 that's a pretty lovely way you put it :)
Yeah, I definately miss them alot...but, "like a young kid getting in a car wreck and losing his life?" Uh...well, um...yeah, that's a little much.

The Mars Volta is just pretentious bullshit.
X-O
Sparta is only half of Atdi. The Mars Volta is the talented half of ATDI.
Stfu not true at all
