Engine Down are far too overllooked… I lump Engine Down with one of those GREAT bands that played a very specific indie/Emo style that ranks among the greats like, Cursive (up to Organ), At The Drive-In, Refused, Knapsack, Drive Like Jehu, Glassjaw, Desaperacidos, Hot Rod Circuit, The Anniversary and MANY other outstanding late 90’s/Earlt 00’s bands that had a unique sound that’s often overlooked… which is a shame because it’s VERY interestingly written Emo/punk/indie rock… Demure is my personal fav album!

Ahhhh Cursive, amazing. Especially the gritty early albums. I never could get enough of it.
And Desaparacedos got me through a long divorce. I would just soak in that album.
