I like their relationship shown in the comics. But in the Arkham games that was never established cause the game were released before her was introduced in the comic. So yeah that’s another reason why the game would have fixe a lot of its issues by not being part of the Arkham verse

There was no reason to make them romantically involved because it never happened in the Arkhamverse and to do it now that she's ten? What? They literally went out of their way to make this a problem.

Regarding Saints Row reboot, that was all 100% Deep Silver. Even their community manager, DeadlySteph, who attacked the fans, was a Deep Silver employee, not Volition. Volition _did_ make the game an unplayable mess, so they deserved to get shut down too, but Deep Silver made all the "creative" decisions. And yeah, Sushi Squad is the "Five Guys" event that started Gamergate 2, assuming that's still even going on.

Since people have learned other consultant groups exist with similar levels of progressive fanaticism. Most of them hire people based on ethnicity and sexuality, some even make it part of their name. to be fair amanda waller did make an appearance previously in the arkham series in arkham origins where she is skinny. however, KTJL amanda still looks nothing like arkham origins amanda; not even as an older version of her, so yeah youre not wrong that they changed her appearance.

She used to be on MadTV along with other notables like Aries Spears, Will Sasso and Phil Lamarr (same guy who voices Samurai Jack). They (Rocksteady) probably went the route of using the actors' actual likeness for each character they're portraying in the game to simplify design and animation workload (save obvious exceptions like King Shark).
Must be the later version then, because the version of Waller I'm most familiar with is from the 2000-era Justice League shows, where she's voiced by CCH Pounder. I also have to admit that Harley Quinn, in this game, looks a lot like Tara Strong, her traditional voice actress since Arleen Sorkin's passing. Knowing what we know about this game's production history, the mocap and direct usage of likenesses as a shortcut doesn't surprise me in the least.
I like how they insist on the whole "X character has to be your gender and exact pigmentation for you to relate to" while one of the oldest internet's mantras is "female avatar in an MP game? prolly a dude".

I am genuinely convinced that one of the reasons why Rocksteady has still been trying to push this game so much is because it means they can essentially advertize it by saying they're the ones who have Kevin Conroy's last performance as Batman. He's a big name in DC for a reason, he MADE the Batman we know and love. It feels like how signatures from dead celebrities are worth more money due to the scarcity. Its like they're going "Look at us!! We have the last performance from the guy you all grew up hearing as Batman!! You know, the one who quite literally made the iconic Batman voice!!" Looking back I was mistaken about their involvement with Saints Row which has been redacted on many sites (they are still on the imdb though). They Did the script writing for Gotham Knights and Non player characters and audio logs in Suicide Squad.
I really would’ve loved a super hard rouge-like game where you recruit very unknown crew of super villains. Or randomly generated ones using the nemesis system from shadow of war. And the better you do each run you’ll get rewards to make your next run easier and maybe even get characters like bane, or gorilla Grodd.
This truly feels like it was supposed to be a totally different game and WB forced Rocksteady to make it in the Arkhamverse. That’s the only reason I can think as to why a studio would commit IP suicide like this

Also when it comes to video games when we went from playing Vice city, a white character, to San Andreas, a black character no one cared. The only thing people talked about was how you could now climb, swim, and fly! People should focus on making a good product instead of treating people like products!

As a guy who has watched pretty much everything an American kid could watch in the 2000s, especially any Power Rangers season with that franchise being more diverse than any other on screen, I definitely do not need characters to look like me (African appearance) to deeply care for them, it's simply nice to see the Afro Diaspora in stuff without making it a big deal in the writing. Simply write the character with real personalities, no matter what the character looks like. You could make a Dramedy about the Amoeba Boys and I may tear up. BUT, I do not want to ignore the fact that how long it takes to get to a non-adaptation human, non-Euro (non-white) lead character as the first/only you play in that universe is completely on purpose by devs who really don't like making brown skin characters (whether Asian, Pacific Islander, Indigenous Americas, African) who fit that lead character description, hence exceptions takes forever in between. Video games has even had more animals as the sole/first lead, and I love Sly Cooper, Crash Bandicoot, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Spyro, so I have no hate for them either (we are lacking new characters like them as well 🤦🏿♂️). It is important to move away from the devs practically lackadaisically going, "Uhhh, white dude/dudette... Maybe give their white name/life to a non-white body or something" without a second thought so often. Also important to expand the cultures to make decent stories/warriors with beyond European and East Asian without mostly waiting for Asassin's Creed, Africanizing Norse myth figures and occasional indie games with African, South Asian, Aztec, etc. basis or waiting for such to pop up in Raid: Shadow Legends or something. The U.S.A.'s population is neither here nor there as the country even has way more non-Euro-descent people in the workforce than as the sole lead of a video game universe without European/East Asian setting. We took so long to create more non-Euro characters to play that SBI, with their questionable symbol, crawled in and made such an innocent thing feel like... well... an inside job.

Changing it from gang violence to a BLM protest completely shifts the from a kid being influenced by his surroundings, and being better, to just some kid at a protest. It also informs his rogues gallery, the villains were also in the bang, so them being gang member explains why they are bad guys. While the other makes me wonder what the writers meant by making the villains attend a BLM rally.
Suicide Squad should have a story about self-sacrifice, you know, to put a greater purpose to help people why it's a REAL problem? Address questions like "Why people often don't get why people self-sacrificed themselves? Why it's important to separate fallacies from a necessary evil?"
Instead, how are these hacks have more budget than talented writers who can see from 4 parallel universes away that "Self-fulfilling propheciy" is a Chekov's Gun set to full auto? Karma bites harder than a rabies hound though, no wonder the devs left to buy milk.

I guarantee the plan for this game is to have the storyline in each season be that the Justice League we kill were clones of the main members. So other than Wonder Woman, they're all still alive. And since Wonder Woman was made of clay, she can come back. It's dumb and lazy but it's the best way to make people hate them slightly less

I am genuinely convinced that one of the reasons why Rocksteady has still been trying to push this game so much is because it means they can essentially advertize it by saying they're the ones who have Kevin Conroy's last performance as Batman. He's a big name in DC for a reason, he MADE the Batman we know and love.
It feels like how signatures from dead celebrities are worth more money due to the scarcity. Its like they're going "Look at us!! We have the last performance from the guy you all grew up hearing as Batman!! You know, the one who quite literally made the iconic Batman voice!!"

Waller in her original form is such a great character, no powers, overweight, and yet the most intimidating woman alive. Enough that even Batman is cautious about her. I also HATE the Will Smithening of Deadshot. Just use a black character in Suicide Squad instead of race changing Deadshot. Also WHY the obsession with Harley Quinn?

We just get so many evil Superman’s now that a lot of people think comic Superman is boring when his whole idea of protecting humans and wanting to understand them and help them is probably one of the most interesting things in comics. That’s why I’m so happy that James Gunn movie is based off of one of the best Superman comics All Star Superman so more people could understand his character

Looking back I was mistaken about their involvement with Saints Row which has been redacted on many sites (they are still on the imdb though). They Did the script writing for Gotham Knights and Non player characters and audio logs in Suicide Squad.

I really would’ve loved a super hard rouge-like game where you recruit very unknown crew of super villains. Or randomly generated ones using the nemesis system from shadow of war. And the better you do each run you’ll get rewards to make your next run easier and maybe even get characters like bane, or gorilla Grodd.

As a guy who has watched pretty much everything an American kid could watch in the 2000s, especially any Power Rangers season with that franchise being more diverse than any other on screen, I definitely do not need characters to look like me (African appearance) to deeply care for them, it's simply nice to see the Afro Diaspora in stuff without making it a big deal in the writing. Simply write the character with real personalities, no matter what the character looks like. You could make a Dramedy about the Amoeba Boys and I may tear up.
BUT, I do not want to ignore the fact that how long it takes to get to a non-adaptation human, non-Euro (non-white) lead character as the first/only you play in that universe is completely on purpose by devs who really don't like making brown skin characters (whether Asian, Pacific Islander, Indigenous Americas, African) who fit that lead character description, hence exceptions takes forever in between. Video games has even had more animals as the sole/first lead, and I love Sly Cooper, Crash Bandicoot, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Spyro, so I have no hate for them either (we are lacking new characters like them as well 🤦🏿♂️).
It is important to move away from the devs practically lackadaisically going, "Uhhh, white dude/dudette... Maybe give their white name/life to a non-white body or something" without a second thought so often. Also important to expand the cultures to make decent stories/warriors with beyond European and East Asian without mostly waiting for Asassin's Creed, Africanizing Norse myth figures and occasional indie games with African, South Asian, Aztec, etc. basis or waiting for such to pop up in Raid: Shadow Legends or something. The U.S.A.'s population is neither here nor there as the country even has way more non-Euro-descent people in the workforce than as the sole lead of a video game universe without European/East Asian setting.
We took so long to create more non-Euro characters to play that SBI, with their questionable symbol, crawled in and made such an innocent thing feel like... well... an inside job.
funny thing is, you have to buy the battle pass separately from the joker, so it’s actually TWO purchases instead of one💥
