You're absolutely right. Mounting a 991 steering wheel to a 997 is pretty much plug and play. However the size difference makes it also more heavy to turn. I did it to my 997.1 Turbo, but the original steering wheel is actually a much more pleasant driving experience, imo.
Not squashing a Beetle is also considered good design as well by the way. The New Beetle is one of the best looking cars on the road, deaigned by the same guy that drew the original Audi TT and Chrysler Crossfire. Not the New New Beetle... You get which one I mean.
The 997 is the generation I want to get some day. Hopefully, it won't be unattainable.
Also, I'm pretty sure the steering wheel is from a newer 911.
100% is from a never car. This is the 918 steering wheel, I had one on my 2016 Cayenne

i like how the 997.2 looks more like the Turbo in the front, but I'm not a huge fan of the rear light design
The most beautiful car for its time
iirc, porsche had a program in which they will take on upgrading the DIN module on some older generation 911s, for a limited time.
The 997.1 Carrera S and Carrera 4S both produced 355bhp from the 3.8 litre flat six
I love the car but can't stand those wheels... they're just hedious
I like thee crab wheels lmao
*hideous, I'm sorry
@@legendaryblob8227 thanks! It wasn't a typo. I honestly didn't know that
@@eien86 that is the nicest response to a grammar correction I have ever seen!
I don't understand how squashing a vw beetle is considered good car design. Porsche 911s have never appealed to me.
Spicy
I respect your opinion, but it's wrong.
