The ferry is a great way to get back and fourth from Salem. Plus its a tour while on the water. The trolley is an awesome way to see Salem too. Its a tour and a way to see the more past historic areas of Salem without taking the walking tour or yellow line historic path. There are still some really good tours worth taking. Do yourselves a favor and plan out some site locations and restaurants or pubs etc. you wish to go to. It takes about 3-5 days to get the most out of your trip and I recommend Boston for 1-2 of those days. Its worth going back to visit what you missed. happy you had a good time.

It's been a tradition with my family every Halloween since the film came out to watch Hocus Pocus and eat hotdogs. Children all grown up now but keep up the tradition in their own homes with their own children and I get back invited too. I reckon we must know all the lines by now.
As a Boston local, taking the train to Salem is definitely the right choice. The parking is horrible once everything opens! Enjoying these vlogs, and good to see you both back!

I love Salem. The first ever Pride parade and celebration I went to with my daughter was in Salem.

Amazing scenery. I'm glad you guys are having fun. it sure looks hot walking 17,000 steps but that is exercise.
We were blessed with the weather (and the heat lol) but just being outdoors, walking, fresh air was bliss

Salem is a great city but gets very busy at Halloween
Absolutely loved Salem! So much history and the views are to die for. Inspired me to download the House of the Seven Gables novel. Also fun to see the HP house - my fave Disney film at Halloween time. Thanks for taking us along 😍

We love using the trains in the US, we have done Boston and then caught the train down the coast to New York.
We really liked the novelty! Might need to look at future trips using the train to different places in the US..
@@LRDreaming we’ve done Anaheim down to San Diego and also Washington to Philly to New York all on the train, some of the stations are amazing, great views and cheap as well

When you return to Salem, I most highly recommend that you pop by Harbour Sweets at 85 Leavitt Street and get their delicious chocolate covered toffee "Sweet Sloops"! It's the best of Salem!

Wonderful to see you guys on UA-cam again, and visiting Salem where I used to live. Don’t bother going to the Salem Witch Museum, it’s a complete waste of money. I highly recommend the House of the Seven Gables tour. People usually think of witches when they think of Salem, but it has a very rich maritime history which is worth exploring.

I’ve been to the house of the seven gables, we went in all the houses, plus the counting course where Nathaniel Hawthorne worked, he wrote the book House of the seven Gables. But Salem is probably one of the most beautiful places on earth, I love it so much there
