In Peru, we called it "cuy" (the pronuntiation is in spanish). It is not a hamster. Cuy can weigh 3 kilos and its is used as food in here. As a peruvian, I almost died laughing when I saw that cuy walking and Randy screaming with fear. Then with the costumes. Only in South Park. LOL
I love that they’re both paying homage to and making fun of found footage movies (Cloverfield most of all) from unnecessarily filming everything before the attacks to getting angled shots of their environment instead of just giving us a clear look at the monster to randomly filming their feet while they’re running. 😂
Funny little detail how the boys are playing only classic nursery rhyme songs on their Peruvian flutes, like Mary Had A Little Lamb and Three Blind Mice. Randy with the camera is specifically parodying Cloverfield, not just with the disaster shots, but also the way he was annoying everyone and filming everything just because he had a camera.
