when kyle attacks cartman out of just pure range yelling "HATE YOU! HATE YOU!" i felt it in my soul it is probably the most satisfying south park scene ever
Also... some of my favorite eps are ones of Cartman getting his comeuppance, like Awesom-o or the one where Wendy beats him up... BUT a big reason taht works is because Cartman very rarely gets what he deserves. usually he breaks even or even comes out on top; if he took a beating every episode it wouldn't be as satisfying
39:04 It's funny, considering Quarantine was a remake of a far better horror movie from Spain, REC. Highly recommend, as it's legitimately one of, if not the best found-footage horror movies ever made.
I think the only way to NOT, ahem, ruin your childhood creation is for it to be cancelled before yo can T__T. OR better you, end the show on your own terms. Ed Edd n Eddy I thought was a good example of that: did a special to end the show, resolve the main character conflict, and finish she show on a good note. THOUGH haha... it's hard to imagine Cartman getting a moment like Eddy got...
I always thought a better ending to tonsil trouble would be if the cure required something like $20 million, Magic Johnson only having enough to cure himself and one of the boys, Cartman butting in before Kyle can speak, saying something like "oh that's okay Kyle's family are Jewish, of course they can afford it", then the episode just ends with Cartman smug knowing he's been cured of HIV while Kyle is still infected.
Never understood why Matt and Trey thought they needed to do the Obama episode considering they had never done anything like it before. Up to that point the only thing related to politics or an election was the douche vs turd episode, which is evergreen. The Obama episode instantly became dated and doesn’t hold up for any subsequent rewatches. And of course it gave Matt and Trey the confidence that they could do the same thing with Trump and we all know that turned out to be a disaster where they wrote garrison into a corner. South Park can be funny when it’s topical but the best topical episodes are the ones that use metaphors like manbearpig or two days before the day after tomorrow. When they don’t even try to disguise the commentary it’s too obnoxious and becomes dated.
This might be the worst take I've seen, that episode has pointedly not aged poorly AT ALL, because the idea that anyone would run for president to heist a diamond is not inherently political and will always be funny conceptually. Plus, the commentary plays on the heightened emotions of any election cycle and not the specifics of these platforms or candidates. It's actually aged incredibly well.
LOL that episode rules. The story holds up all on its own, Randy getting overly pumped about a candidate winning and a classic jewel heist story works completely independent from any “reality” of the time
@@GoodbuyWhorses You should upload your own then. Or just be thankful for the kind soul who has already taken time to do so. I swear Whorse are never satisfied

Just want to say how much I appreciate you uploading these. Thank you.
You’re welcome
As much as they clearly can't fucking stand doing commentaries, I still appreciate it very much lmao
They have admitted they enjoy them to a point just not that much
Watching for the Canada on Strike commentary, good talk about what is currently happening in the industry.
Recently did a gruelling 10 hours of travelling and listened to these the whole time 🙏 thank you
22:18 You know its saying something when Trey Parker, the co creator of South Park says they crossed a line...

Love Pandemic (the guinea pig episodes)
good episode, shitty time in the history of the 2020s
Super fun time is definitely my top 5 episodes
lots of my faves in this season

One of my favourite seasons as a teenager, and still is now. "Breast Cancer Show Ever" is the best episode of the programme.
I don't know about the best episode, but it is the best Wendy episode and a very solid Cartman story. I would call seasons 7-8 the strongest.
@dylanmcdermott1110
Season 7 is good, but not fantastic.

Listening to their "Canada on Strike" comments in 2023 and wondering how they'll roll with their new season in March. Are they still non-union?
The 2023 strike was even more stupid and pointless than the last one. I’m pro-union, but that trainwreck had even me questioning my views
Skooool
