I’m not certain about these XDE35 replacing any Gillig Advantage. Right now PVTA has four, three for Springfield and one for Northampton. It’s a very low amount of buses to replace anything at the moment besides Northampton where 7555 and 7820 replaced the remaining Gillig’s. Amherst are still running the 2007’s and Springfield are still running the 2010’s. It would have to be a pretty big order to retire them, but who knows. Anything can happen.
They still operate to this day on B-79. If I’m correct, I’m pretty sure 3213 is still out. It’s hard for me to find when they will retire since Umass is the last PVTA division to keep the remaining old equipment then once they retire, they get swapped out to field trip buses every once in a while.
Probably these buses are replacing the old 2010 Gillig low floors

@ when I used to live in Springfield I used to go to Amherst many times to catch the 2007 Gillig low floors which all of them operate on the route B79
