This follows the journey of the USS Excalibur-A and the USS Trident, Galaxy class starship.

The Excalibur A needs to be the upgraded Galaxy-class with the phaser banks on the nacelles that were added during the Dominion War. It's a shame we don't have a Trek series on TV right now.
Will the people who produce fan fiction make a series about this one?

Alas I only read the first book of the New Frontier series. The Franklin Mint produced a figure based on Captain Calhoun, right down to the scar from where he used the welder to seal the injury.
It was the first time a figure was ever created based on a Star Trek book character.

Not bad at all dude. The only one I might argue with is kreuk, but that's because I hate her from smallville. Excellent work. I'd love to see this made into a show or a movie, as long as they don't f**k it up. Peter David would have to sign off on everything.
@MadMichigander1313 NO! The casting was perfect...well actually maybe Goran Visnjic would have been my first choice. But Joe is good. Kristen Kreuk is my only complaint.
I am surprized that you didn't cast Thomas Jane for the role of Calhoun.

Just a quick one...who's Xy and what happened to Soleta? I admit I'm a couple of books behind but surely not that much!
I don't know if someone has answered you in these years but I can explain it.
Xy is the hybrid son of Burgoyne 172 and Selar. Soleta, at least in the books, is no more in Starfleet; hurt during a battle, she was discovered to be half-Romulan and resigned from Starfleet.

@jtaske02 She is like Kryptonite to acting (badum tshe).
But on another note some of the other casting choices need to be rethought as well. Granted this was made 2 years ago so I kinda have to forgive the Majell Roddenberry choice. But Plakson and Judd have been too old for maybe 5 to 7 years to play those parts.
I would like to see choices that are more modern. But that's just me.
