Brilliant video shows exactly how to fix a leaking tap and gave me a lot of pointers which i had no idea you needed to do. I managed to change my own leaky tap today but wished i had seen this video before it would have saved me a lot of effort and time to do the job properly. Thank you for straight forward talking.
We had a plumber put in new stainless steel seats on our shower but afterwards, the flow/pressure on the hot tap was very low and got progressively worse. I opened it up to look, there was some black gunk kame out so I thought maybe the plumber didn't flush the filings like you recommend but the cold tap is fine. Not a mixer.
Actually scratch that, it was filings at the base of the shower assembly in the water governor/filter exactly like you said. Took two minutes to fix. Thanks so much for the video.
not sure what the black gunk is mate. could be bits of the old tap washer.
