Great video. I am torn between the Rode wireless go II 1 tx, 1rx model or just going full tilt for the Pro. The backup audio is sorely and both handle it. and my current work flow will work fine with the Go II/ BUt when you factor in the charging case. lav mics and 32bit float support it and most importantly FOMO it's hard pick. lol.

I completely agree. If I was buying today I’d probably go with the Pro for the 32 but float and timecode.
Great, concise review.
Thanks John, much appreciated.
Awesome review!!! I might get one!
I’ve been trying to find a mic that won’t make me sound like a 14 year old girl 😅
So glad you found it helpful!
As you saw in the video, the different forms of the mic can sound drastically different. The lavalier option is pretty realistic.
@@mattliller ok thank you!
Good content!
Thanks so much!
what are the alternatives for higher quality audio? i noticed the audio in the last part of the video didn't sound great
Mic placement (relative to your mouth) and adding processing in your editor can raise the sound quality.
