Good video. But you forgot to talk about the Creative Worker Visa.

Thanks for watching. I wanted to focus the video around the visas that were able to get you to ILR and citizenship. The creative visa felt like a short option and nothing something that necessarily leads to citizenship…without switching

@@AllAboutAnika Oh I see what you mean. Yeah to be able to stick to just one visa would make the process easier and less expensive. Well it’s a good thing that the skilled worker visa is also an option for someone like me who’s actively building a career in the film industry. However most job positions are freelance so I need to figure out a way how that visa will work for me in this industry. If you have e any suggestions, I’d love to hear them. Or if you know any creatives then I’d love to be connected with them.

@BastienEntertainment sorry I don’t I guess I took a more “traditional” route. With the skilled worker visa you can’t do freelance, so really not sure which other visa. Unless you do the HPI or the global talent where those are more direct routes to citizenship but also allow you to do freelance work. Good luck!

If I go with a spouse visa I can’t even travel until the 5 years end?

Of course you can travel. You just have to make sure you don’t travel more than 450 days in the 5 years. Basically you have to show that primarily your time is spent in the UK :)

😂Why would you say it's easier? Have you not seen the new rules that are taking place??? Have you not listened the proposals that James Cleverly has put out there? It's gotten HARDER to get a visa to put you on the route to ILR or citizenship.

Personally I think it’s easier as there are more routes. Before it was one way or now way
