Most the time laying on a either side they occur It seems when I Relax this happens .

Thank you...yes, very helpful. The neuo dr. at the hospital said there was nothing wrong with me...all in my head and sent me home. I could not walk. I could not feel my entire left leg up to my hip. The neurologist at the hospital had done an MRI from my waist up. My General Practitioner ordered an Mri from the waist down (which because of covid, I could not see him until 5 mos. later). He found a severe narrowing of the spine at the root exit. I should have had immediate surgery. You sound like a very good Dr.

How do we get help 😭. 11 years and 2 back surgeries later I'm so much worse than I was before. Can't,sit, stand, walk, bend, being crushed by my muscles from lower back to feet, hot burning, electrocution, pins and needles . pelvis and hips are completely crushing me

Professor just quick inquiry, when examining the reflexes does this mean we have a positive result when there's is disc herniation ? And also about sensation do you as a physician palpate the specific dermatome to check for loss of sensation or you just rely on what the patient is experiencing?

If patient have L3-L4 herniated disk and if we check the reflex we should expect to see weak reflex right or strong reflex

Will an overactive knee reflex be as a result of L4 nerve root issue?

At present all my positions like L4,L5,S1 are herniated. My life having too much of worries now. Now I'm 61 year-olds.Can you give the correct advise for non surgery method to relief ? Because it was too costly and I think it was not satisfied ?
