I buy the same eyeliner in the exact same color and it´s true it is HORRIBLE!! I thought i have a bad one but now i know am not the only one
Try La Roche Posay micellar water !!! it's very good for the skin and
takes off very well the face makeup ! It doesn't hurt eyes and works
very well with eyeliner and eyeshdow

I love these types of videos - I'm always at war with myself when trying to buy cosmetic products and this helps a LOT! And I love that it shows how real and genuine you are... To review certain disappointing products from brands you've collaborated with - it shows how much you care about your subscribers and what you put your name on (in terms of recommendations) and that you won't settle for mediocre batches/products! I'll continue to buy from brands that you've mentioned here, but at least now I know which products to pass over. Thanks girl!

Disappointing products videos are awesome. That way I don't waste my $$ on products that may also be disappointing to me. It gives me a frame of reference. However, there are times when the reason it disappoints you clues me in that it may work for me!

Always love your bloopers. Kudos for being public about products you don't like even when it comes to brands you've collaborated with. I personally appreciate these videos because, while our preferences vary, it can save some viewers money and it also informs brands on possible improvements with future products.

I LOVE these kinds of videos more than monthly favorites, I could skip a monthly fave video but I will NEVER skip a disappointing video. I'm weird like that lol. Also recently I tried the born this way foundation from too faced and I loved it upon first application but I have combo skin and I got too oily too fast so I was disappointed by that.
I have combo dry skin would BTW foundation work for Me? I've got a sample but I'm nervous to try it lol
+eyerus yes try it! It worked wonderfully on the parts of my face that are more dry. The coverage and the longevity are great. It also didn't break me out. It's just me and my silly oily nose that are the problem 😂
Have you tried the garnier micellar waters? They don't hurt my eyes at all.

They've just got taking out of every shop in my country, they have a lot of bad chemicals in them, so I wouldnt recommend, many people love them, but they're kinda toxic

in addition to just being duochrome shadows, the packaging is cheap for $70 and the brush that comes with it is just as cheap and ineffective. it's really disappointing!!

I didn't like those wet n wild blushes. I gave them to my 10 year old to play with. They don't show up and see gone in 5 minutes. I didn't like the Sephora eyeliner. Returned! I didn't even order the Pat McGrath. $72! I'm glad I didn't. I'll spend $72, but not on that. I like these videos. Very informative.

Yes! I've had a lot of disappointing products lately too. Usually they don't work for my skin type or are better suited to someone your age (I'm old enough to be your mom). Still looking for my HG foundation and for a liner that will stay in my waterline.
I'm absolutely in love with the MUFE Ultra HD Foundation. It's just dewy enough but not to make me look oily. It smells great and feels great on my skin and the color is an exact perfect match. Evens out my skin tone and covers blemishes without it feeling heavy. I barely need concealer with it. I could go on for days about that foundation and the color selection is incredible. I was kinda upset that i fell in love with a $42 foundation, because the Sephora worker did a blind test on me with that one and a Clinique one, but it ended up being worth it in the long run for me personally. I'm sure you've tried it though.
I find that the garnier micellar water does sting my eyes too, but only I have excessive water on the cotton pad I'm using. If I take it off it works great. Personally I love the Garnier micellar water.

Not bad but I find coconut oil much more effective. I rub the oil and then rince it with the micellar water
I've heard great things about using coconut oil for tough makeup. I might just try that next. I'm currently using baby oil and it works well but I'm not to fond of the scent lol thanks for the reply!

I love mine! It hasn't dramatically cleared up any acne but I feel like its taken away texture leaving my skin smoother. It's definitely more hygienic than the Clarisonic but I liked how the Clarisonic brush really scrubed the day off and you could see the makeup on the brush head as a result. I know you want Kathleen's opinion, but those are my two cents!
I bought the Foreo Luna Mini for $99 and I don't feel like I'm missing out on any of the features that the more expensive one has.

I'm so glad you mentioned the Physician's Formula Bronzer - it's the first one I ever bought from the brand and it honestly did nothing. And that shocking gold glitter in the middle - WTF! It also made me suspicious about any other PF products and I never understood your recommendations for some of their other products. Having heard your honest opinion in this one makes me reconsider trying other products from the range. So there: a negative review of this product may actually increase sales of other products from PF! Thanks for this!

hey girl have you ever tried taking fish oil? that's what we give my daughter for her dry skin in the winter. the idea is to be moisturized from the inside out

+Jay Bugg my daughter actually eats extremely well thank you. nutrition is something I have a high interest in and give it a very large emphasis. it is genetics as my husband gets the same thing he always gets eczema in the winter. and supplementing with fish oil during the cold dry months definitely helped. if I missed a day or two she would start getting eczema spots. she doesn't get anything now that it's the warmer months.
to everyone else who asked yes, she swallows the fish oil so she gets moisturized from the inside out. she sees a naturopathic pediatrician. aka her doctor focuses on natural cures rather than harmful creams or prescriptions. if you always have dry skin you will always need to take the fish oil (if that is helping). if you stop than your dry skin will come back. it's like putting lotion on your insides
erm... Omega 3s reduce inflammation in the body, which is often auto-immune related. Eczema and dry skin are often presentations of auto-immune related inflammation and reactions in the body. Fish oil reduces inflammation which in turn helps with eczema and dry skin. It's not lotion for your insides, the oil is not lubricating you. It's an anti-inflammatory.
I just bought that Physicians formular bronzer day before yesterday and the damn thing didn't show up on me either. So it'll be going back... Butter bronzer looked like it'd be too light on me...
I wish PF would come out with another butter bronzer for deeper skin!

Neutrogena makeup whipes were the worst things I've ever put on my face. they were so dry. they practically didn't remove anything. the little bit of dampness burnt my eyes. and I broke out EVERYWHERE on my face afterwards. and I have never had an acne problem before. but it was horrible.

Garner micellar has some cancer causing agent in it. I've switched to the Neogen one instead. It has great natural ingredients and is a skincare product as well.

Have you ever used Mac's Face and Body foundation? I've never tried it, but I visited the Elf store in Manhattan (I'm always there lol) and they have a a new foundation serum. The woman at checkout told me that they got their inspiration from Mac to create that. I've been using it and I like it! But I've never really used anything as liquified as that so I don't have anything to compare it to. I was wondering if you've tried the Foundation serum from Elf or if you could? I'd love to know if you think it's similar to high end ones or if I should splurge! Xoxo

this lip color is everything. I just recently bought all you products in collaboration with colourpop two months ago and still haven't received it and have had so much trouble getting customer service to resend it but they finally are and I'm so excited to finally have my favorite girl on youtubes collaboration in my hands. I love all the colors you've made lip and eyes. I think this brown is my favorite of the new lippies you just did. and I will be purchasing as soon as they release on the 12th. it's just beautiful. I feel the SAME about the Nyx Lingerie collection that you do about ABH Naked and Pure Hollywood. My skin tone just doesn't look good with nudes like that! The Lingerie collection is SO dry and crusty
The formula is honestly horrible. It shows every crack on your lips and I was so disappointed because I wanted "Exotic" but I can't stand the feeling of super dry lips :(

I agree the NYX lingerie was not a good formula and it got all gross on the inner lip after like 30 minutes!
I have two shades from the nyx lingerie line and I love them! :( maybe it's certain shades? But I guess it defers person to person

I tried the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and it looked AWFUL on me. It made my skin look patchy, dry, scaly, whatever you call it. Just awful. And it really upset me because so many UA-camrs rave about it!

Yees! I hate the pat mcgrath highlighters! They are so over hyped and sooo over priced, i also think the Bush suck. The only thing i like is the balm, and maybe the highlighters stick.. The rest?: sucks. You should also not feel bad talking about a product, if it's a bad product you should be able to say that, not hold it in beacuse so many other people love it.
same I never got the hype I mean drugstore has balm highlighters too, and the highlighter itself seemed chalky
At ulta, they have dupes for the pat McGrath highlighters! The dupes are Make up revolution strobe balms! They are bigger and creamier!

A product that let me down a little was surprisingly Jaclyn Hill's new champagne collection face palette. Don't get me wrong, I love Jaclyn!! And the product was EXCELLENT quality, but I'm just too pale for it! I loved the eyeshadow palette though despite it not working out for everyone
