Simple answer:
yes, but the oculus quest 2 might be better depending on your priorities with a VR headset
Long answer:
I mean, the PSVR is probably the bottom of the barrel for mainstream VR headsets but it still works as a good VR headset, the only problem I have with it is the controllers, oh and if you dont have a PC its basically just PSVR vs oculus quest 2, but the oculus quest 2 without a pc probably has less games than the PSVR, however the oculus quest 2 is better in general from what I've heard, they're similar prices (I think, I found PSVRs for ~300-600, and OQ2 for ~300-400) so for roughly this price I personally would get the oculus quest 2, do with this information what you will, have a good day.
Edit: also the PSVR screen is 720p which is weirdly low considering it's a VR and there is something called the screen door effect with the PSVR which basically means it kinda looks like you're looking through a screen door but it's not as noticeable as you might think from the name anyway that's all

I know right. But I feel like the amount of wires needed for the Vr is the same as the wires needed back then.

sad that u need an adaptor for the ps camera on the ps5. i mean i can actually use it without it but then u need to set it up but i dont have the adaptor for the ps camera to set it up and it shuts off

It's crazy that we went from plugging in a processor unit with its own separate power source, two HDMI Cables, a USB to Micro-USB Cable, and a VR Headset Connection Cable to use the PS VR to plugging in a single USB-C Cable to use the PS VR2.
Even better: it's USB-C *and* Displayport rolled into one! Aka Displayport-alt USB-C ;p
As someone who has never put on a vr headset before this was honestly sick!

Why does it even matter? All of this wires are going to be hidden behind the TV. Only the Wire connected to the Headset is visible then.

When I put the USB port into the PlayStation and the processor unit it still show the usb image with a x beside it ?

Too many wires! Not really viable for most people. No point investing due to the price and secondly because of the complexity and vast amount of cables needed. Wait at least 3 years by which time it will be more improved

Bro the ps4 has its own HDMI cable...but the VR also..has its own HDMI cable but some how I don't know how they are supposed to share the same HDMI for them to work-
One hdmi goes from the ps4 directly to to the breakout box port labeled ps4 and the other goes from the breakout box labeled tv directly to your TV port. It's annoying to setup first time but gets easier

Ummm yes the playstation vr destroyed my ps4 and i turn it on and it says no signal and when i turn on the vr it has a box with an X on it and it says HDMI as a result i can't play and the ps vr just destroyed my ps4 i have unplug my ps4 and my TV over 20 times and nothing happens :(
This exact same thing happened to our first ps4 about 6 months ago.

That was a really good instruction video. Simple and clear. I don't suppose you will make one for those who use an amp to connect to the PSVR? I have one that I need to bypass through for the surround sound and took me a while to work it out. But again, excellent video
