In, I want to say around November, maybe a bit earlier? The rules for verification were completely rewritten and almost all entertainment requirements were scrapped (excluding things like playarounds). With that in mind, this got another look, and with it being very well optimized and individual “levels” being allowed, this got approved. There’s been a lot of really old TASes that were only rejected for entertainment purposes that have come around recently, the first one and the origin point being the Professor Oak’s Challenge Living Dex of Pokemon Emerald. And there’s likely many more to come out of the floodgates.
Also, most runs in the past required that you had to start from the very beginning without a save file prepared. This time, however, having a save file ready to play an individual level or game mode is now allowed.
Sometimes, you just want one thing out of a TAS.
My goodness, the music just immediately hits my nostalgia/heart strings, love this game so much!
I didn’t even know the game could handle a number that high, I thought it would overflow back to zero at some point but here we are
きっと多くの人がずっと見たいと思ってたTAS
…はやくカジオー倒しに行って!!
I don't know how much RNG goes into this minigame, and I'm too afraid to ask how long it took to manipulate everything into a perfect run.
Slowdown on the SA-1 chip

Even the sa-1 can only do so much
I didn’t know I wanted a bullet hell game where the main character is a scarab but I’ll take it.
Super Mario RPGeetle: Legend of the Many Buzzy Beetles
4:47 longest combo?
Your reward: 10 coins, maybe a mushroom if RNG is manipulated properly.

This run was submitted in 2012. It took 13 years for this run to be published. Why was this run published?
