polandbananasBOOKS I love you Christine! You inspire me everyday. When I'm older, I will do a book channel too.(I'm 13)😍😍😍😘😘😘❤💗💕 Luv you Christine. You're awesome!!!
Every time I hear Christine say the name Gayle Forman, I get flashbacks to that stalker video she did ages ago "Have you seen Gayle Forman?" "Are you Gayle Forman?" "Gayle Forman?" "Gayle Forman?"
artsy.rt_ Me too but I also get flashbacks of the video that's called "When your favorite author releasesa new book" where she keeps asking everyone if they heard about Gayle Forman releasing a new book.
six of crows was hands down the best story i ate this month! it's been so long since iv'e had a book where im like i need to get home so i can read to find out what happens. half way through crooked kingdom and i am just so happy i picked up this series
My favourite read in March was Scythe. I bought it almost as soon as Christine recommended it, and just finished it this month. IT WAS FRICKING AMAZING AND I CANT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON THE SECOND ONE!!! Thank’s so much for telling us about it!!
This month I watched Queer Eye on Netflix and OMG I can’t stop thinking about it and talking to all my friends about it 😂😂😂 5 gay guys give makeovers to straight guys in the South, and I haven’t expected being so moved. Anybody else is loving it?
My favorite story that I ate in March was six of crows I freaking love the characters and I can’t wait to read crooked kingdom I really want to watch love, Simon 😭❤️❤️❤️
Christine I say this on like ALL of your videos but you gotta watch 3% on Netflix! It’s a dystopian drama that’s kinda like a mix of the Hunger games and Divergent. It’s set in Brazil but it’s dubbed over in English. It’s so good you’d love it!!
Love it, as always. Had to mute during Love Simon because it premieres in June in The Netherlands and I have to stay out of its reach. I also listened to the audio book of They Both Die at the End last weekend and it was very nice
*Favorite book I read* : I finally read Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe this month and wow what an amazing book! Loved it *Favorite TV show I watched this month* : Life Sentence ! This show started in March and I have been loving it so much. It's about a girl that battled with cancer for years but now she is cured and it's about her life and her family and husband and it's funny but also so emotional and it's great. And I love Lucy Hale so much *Favorite movie I watched* : Brooklyn and Lion, had never seen this really loved movies and loved them both so much
My favorite show this month was On My Block! It's on Netflix and amazing!!! I didn't think I would be so invested because it is labeled as a comedy and I usually don't watch comedies but it really grabs you in with the characters and setting. Everyone please watch!!!
I look forward to these videos every month! :) My favourite story I ate this month was Autoboyography by Christina Lauren, I absolutely fell in love with it!
I also really loved They Both Die At The End! Adam Silvera is amazing!! I think my favorite stories of the month were Call Me By Your Name and the tv show Sherlock!
Love you Christine!!!! Can’t wait for your book:) your writing vids have really given me the strength and inspiration to keep writing. I’ve been watching your vids since 2012 and will keep watching:)
My favorite story I ate this month, On My Block. It’s a new Netflix original series that’s only has only 10 thirty minute episodes. SO GOOD - I think you’d love it Christine! :)
Oh my gosh! Nailed it is so fun! I have binged this show!!!! I have a sinus infection and was told to rest so I’ve been reading, watching tv and movies. So great.
I read all the Percy Jackson books. PJO & HOO. It's *fantastic*. I have laughed, cried, threw books on the floor... It is a _really_ close second to Harry Potter but I don't know.
Wow I actually watched one of these for once! Nailed it! Also defo gonna read “they both die at the end” I love stretched out days and your description just hooked me.
Wow I can't believe we're a quarter of a way through the year already! Also I'm looking forward to the Clockwork Angel live show at the end of the month!
I read Warm Bodies in the german version, the original is so great, but the translation is very well done. Since I read the second book „The burning World“ as well (the paperback came out lately) I had to read the first book again. This books are beautifully written and the story is amazing.
I'm soo excited about Again, But Better. I don't know why but I have a cover in my head already with a color scheme and all. I love books that take place in one day.
I listened to the TBDATE audiobook too and LOVED it!! THE ENDING!!! Also, love your writing vlogs :D its so refreshing to see the whole journey you've been on!
Books : Ramona Blue, A Life in Parts, Emmy and Oliver, and scythe Tv shows: Breaking Bad, and Santa Clarita Diet Movies: Ready Player one, Everyday, Game over man, and Click Fun fact: Jessica jones aquarium scene was filmed in my hometown.
There is an old rom com from 1994 called ,"Only You," starring Robert Downey Jr and Marisa Tomei long before their days in the marvel universe. It is a cool movie if you want to see their humble beginning's.
I watched Love, Simon this month as well! I cried through the last hour of the movie😂😭 but it’s funny because it’s probably one of the best adaptations I’ve ever seen that is book to movie. And I was super super impressed because the book is my favorite of all time!
I'm currently reading THIN AIR by Michelle Paver, it's an old fashioned Ghost Story that takes place in the Himalayan Mountains and it's really good. Not a long book so you can get through it quite quickly.
Jessica Jones for me, is the other way around. Binge watched the first season in like a weekend, loved it. But I still haven't finished season 2 yet and it's been a month...
Christine! Have you heard of the lightning thief musical? It's based off the first Percy Jackson book and the cast album is super fun and very book accurate! You should listen to it if you get a chance!
If you're looking for a really good story that happens in a short amount of time, I would recommend After Dark by Haruki Murakami. The story takes over the span of one night and it was very impactful and it keeps you on your toes the entire time.
I love your channel so freaking much! I also really enjoy this serious because I take a lot of your suggestions and end up being really happy😁! I would love to know what songs/albums you have enjoyed through the month, maybe you would consider adding it into the “stories that I ate this month” series? 🙂
Yesssss Jessica Jones... I've been on hold at the library for They Both Die at the End for a while now so hopefully I get it soon! Currently reading and enjoying greatly Code Name Verity.
Hi Christine!!!!! This is my favorite UA-cam video series, I love being introduced to all kinds of stories that I probably wouldn't watch otherwise. I have some recommendations for you!!! TV shows: One Day at a Time, Queer Eye! They're both on netflix and they're absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!! Movies: Coco!!! It's so good and also super sad so be warned!
I reccomend Replica by Lauren Oliver. It is a very heavy book, with science in it, and a twisted love story. It wasn't the type of book that usually sparks my interest, but it was good. It is a split in half book, with two different percpectives of the same scenario. I recommend it if you like heavy reads, but it may also leave you feeling heavy. Just read it, i found it very enlighting
You should watch On My Block! It’s a Netflix original with a super diverse cast and deals with super relevant issues. It’s also got some really funny moments too!!! It’s definitely worth a watch!
I started and finished the Twilight series this month! I read them in Highschool while borrowing them from the library and then suddenly felt the need to get the hell out of my book slump and I had never read a series so fast as twilight before so I went to Barnes and Noble and bought the lot! I wandered into the clearance section first and found the 10th anniversary addition of Twilight with Life and Death for only $6! I'm on Life and Death now but can't find a book talk from you about it! I wonder if you just never finished it or if you actually didn't like it? I'm only on the 2nd chapter but I'm already sucked in because she did the switch so well
You should read the books and watch the Netflix show A Series of Unfortunate Events! I have never seen a book to screen adaptation done as excellently as ASOUE. And I love My Cousin Vinny!!!
To everyone wondering, this is how I read in the shower: ua-cam.com/video/salPkzbeeiY/v-deo.html
