My new years resolution for 2023 was to learn how to mod and make my own games. My new years resolution for 2024 is to finish my mods for Half Life 1 and 2
Wow, what will u mod and be sure to provide a link to your mod when it's out
hell yea man
Can't wait to see your creation.
Bro this video is absolutely amazing. It's edited very well and I was really surprised when I saw that you only had 50 subs. You definitely deserve way more fame man. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much man! Working on another video today that hopefully will be out by the end of the week. Appreciate you taking the time to check it out :)
@@jacksonx7251 Ofcourse man, keep up the amazing work and keep doing what your doing :D
Pure genius to this day, groundbreaking on release. good vid
Great video. I especially liked the point about "Add and iterate" principle. Games like Super Meat Boy also use this, McMillen said pretty much the same thing about Add and iterate in the Indie game movie. So I will be keeping this principle in mind when developing my current game.
Yea I really like the concept because it keeps the gameplay fresh without introducing too many things to keep track of. Good luck on your development!
Thank you so much for the tips, I'm making a hl fan game and this video really helped!
This was amazing.keep it up!
Thank you!
Please, play ultrakill
I would like to know something: when you've mentioned that you felt that half life's movement was slippery, were you referring to half life or half life source? In theory both are the same game (half life 1), but half life source runs on the source engine, which makes gordon's movements a little bit faster than the original version of the game.
I'm pretty sure it's just the original. I don't own Source on steam. My main issue with it was the deceleration speed, as it caused me to fall off some of the tighter platforming. Once I played a little longer I got used to it and it ceased to bother me.
@@jacksonx7251 Oh I see. Anyway, this was a really good video, well done!
@@gabrieltiberius1076 Thank you!
"No game can do the same thing for 10 hours and be fun."
Yakuza and Persona does this for like 15-80
Ah yes a fellow Steve Conte fan.
I prefer to think of myself as a Steve Conte enjoyer.
f.e.a.r. ? man that franchise sucks
How can you say the franchise sucks as a whole when the first game is one of the best fps ever
Two minutes in, which I fast forwarded to then stopped watching, _Tetris_ say you have no clue what you're talking about.
