We Muslims are against of unnecessary killing of animals but we are not agreed on this point that we should go for vegetarian stuff first reason is we have teeth to eat meat given by creator second thing is lot of people need meat because it contains essential items necessary for healthy body.
If you care so much about animals than why not plants don't eat them as well let them live few more days and eat things which are not living same logic applies to all because your interaction is mostly with animals not with plans doesn't mean you can ignore them.
If you are saying no to unnecessary killing just for taste and show off we have no problem on this go for it otherwise please don't debate on illogical things there are humans suffering in Palestine, Ukraine, Myanmar, Kashmir go and raise your voice first for the one's who need it most
