Ballycastle Museum Young Historians - Clare Castle (Ballycastle) Community Excavation

Children and staff from St Patrick and St Brigid's Primary School, Ballycastle, took part in a Ballycastle Museum community archaeology project in June 2024.
The project, looking for evidence of one of the lost castles of Ballycastle, was run in partnership with the Centre for Community Archaeology, Queen's University Belfast, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of a wider programme to restore and extend Ballycastle Museum.
