When you put the grey blue next to the teal I was like "oh no..." - re-painting was the right decision, and worth the time investment for a beautiful end result.
Yeah…it wasn’t sitting right with me and I know I wouldn’t have been happy with it so I’m really glad I switched it up too! Thanks so much, appreciate hearing that!
I think you kinda had something with the cyberpunk board. I feel like you we’re close. What you turned the board into looks awesome!! Cool look and has that under hive feel!! Thank you!!
I loved the pivot. It looks great. My only add would be to make some bullet holes on some of the walls and baracades. Looks great! I am really hoping I can build a sweet zone mortalis board for HH.
Looks fantastic. Delighted with how it turned out, brave decision to start over but well worth it when you look at the final result. Hope to see it featured displaying other finished models in the future. 10/10.
That was a really nice comment to read, thanks so much! Yes that first spray of brown was scary 😄 but very glad I changed it up too! It will definitely feature some models soon and hopefully a bat rep or two as well! Thanks again!
I think the final result looks great, the best way to look at it is you didn't make a bad cyberpunk board, you learned one way to avoid making a cyberpunk board you don't like :) I think this board looks great and the next time you try for a cyberpunk theme you'll get the results your looking for Great video as always Andy :)
Yeah I could have edited it so it looked like I never made a mistake but I wanted to show why I switched things up 😄 glad you liked it and thanks for the comment!
I really like the finished table. I’m glad that you included all the steps and thoughts as you were painting it. I’m struggling with color choice for the new Into the Dark terrain currently.
That’s great to hear, I wanted to show that I don’t always get things right first time 😄 I have a video on the kill team terrain if that would help, it’s in a similar dark style!
@@MediocreHobbies I just watched your Land Raider Proteus video and was thinking of trying the stippling technique followed by a drybrush of a metallic grey for a worn look.
Great result! Love the black and yellow doors! Any chance you might do some more Necromunda gang painting tutorial (cough...Delaque and Escher...cough cough)?
the final result looks fantastic, though I did really like the initial direction but kudos on the pivot. With my lights, I like using a seinna or sepia ink, but definitely pulls away from a cyberpunk vibe into a more grimey industrial look
That is a beautiful looking board! Terrain is not easy when you are not really used and finding the right way to proceed with some ideas is hard especially with something as ambitious as cyberpunk with lots of OSL and very vibrant colors.
Wow! Roughly how much to build that board? It’s the one thing that puts me off Necromunda. It’s all about the terrain but to really go to town (ha ha) on a 4’ by 4’ area, with height, is going to cost about £500!
Miniature painting always has that ONE stage where it looks terrible to you. Then you start drybrushing and washing and it comes together. FYI have you tried OPR rules?

The feeling you get when you reveal those hazard stripes...I can't explain that satisfaction. Great job man, looks amazing.
It feel sos good on so many.
looks amazing! I love the hazard effect on the doors!
Thanks so much, really appreciate that!
I absolutely love you changed your decision. I was not liking for first attempt but that second and end result is fantastic. Well done
Thanks very much! I think everyone is in agreement that I made the right choice! Cheers for the comment!

Awesome looking board, well done.

the final result looks amazing! very good decision to switch the colours :D

Looks fantastic bud, the repaint works really well
Thanks so much, I’m really happy with it now!
Cool you finally decided for the Necromunda look... With the typical scenery it just works so well.
Yeah I feel like it was the right decision! I’ll still get my cyberpunk fix some day though! Cheers for the comment!

Great video as always Andy :)
Very kind and a little cheeky. Thanks pal.
Great vid, loved watching your thought process, and agree I think the necromunder paint scheme looks much better👍

Insane effort, 10/10

It’s a hell of a board
Cheers man
Great result!
Thanks so much!
Looks great. If they ever do Eldar or any other factions scenery it'd be nice to see what you do with that.
I’ll be doing videos on everything I can, including scenery pieces! Would love to see more faction scenery coming out!
I like the repaint much more! It kinda reminds me of a fallout vault
Yes definitely got those vibes too! Might have to paint some fallout models for a game on it!

Oh don’t worry, they’re on my list! I’ll be covering vehicles and the guys on foot just like I’ve done for the other gangs so far!
That looks sweet pal!

Yep I leaned I need to learn more before jumping in lol cheers pla.
It was painful watching that first colour scheme happen, much better when you redid it!
Hahaha I agree 100%

Yep it’s a nightmare. Thinking of just printing one my playing set soon
looks really good. i saw this and had to do one myself! GG
where'd you get the 1 x 3 and 2 x 3 tile platforms?
They are all the gw 1x1 Necromunda tiles. I cut a bit with a saw to make it fit.
@@MediocreHobbies ouch!! thanks for letting me know :)
What’s the size dimensions of this board? 15” x 12” ? Trying to work it out based off the size of the floor tiles 😂
23 x 30. So a bit bigger then you think.

No I have yet to try one page rules. It is for sure in my future. You a big fan?
