I discovered Katatonia last year, one of the few bands that opens up my eyes, letting me hear a NEW sound. Doesn't happen regularly anymore after 12 years of listening to any guitarmusic. I can't really explain it, but Katatonia just has a LOVELY vibe. It's just "nice to listen to". love the drumwork as well, underestimated drummer, plays some interesting patterns in a thematical disciplined way, which fits the music perfectly. One of the few discoveries of last year, I'm a fan ;)
my favorite part about this song is the bassist idk why but the notes he plays during the chorus the bass reminds me of when i was younger and i would play final fantasy X all the damn time it reminds me of the battle music

Tomorrow.. Tomorrow I will see them live, just over a year after I found their music and it accompanied, inspired and downright changed my life. It sounds cliché, but it is the truth. Never in my adult life has music impacted me like Katatonia's later records.
