Tips from level 150 - For level 10 bugs …. Try the guard dog (not rover) and machine gun sentry. Use that sentry on cooldown. It’s also reasonably effective against breaches. It’s fantastic against shriekers. You can get two at the same time when defending for some objectives. That lets you attack 4 targets at once with sentries, pack, and yourself. This eliminates a LOT of pressure. Pick up ammo in the world regularly to keep your pack fed. You can see remaining mags visibly on the pack. 6 is full. The combo will handle light and medium bugs for the most part. Lets you use a crossbow for mediums and bug holes. Also, if you break im paler leg armor with an EAT (or quasar) it’s two crossbow shots to finish it off. Crossbow also lets you deal with most holes from a big distance with faster follow up than grenade pistol and with more ammo and more ammo back from pickups. Plus one handed for mega nest egg and other objectives. Plus run and fire one handed for more speed. EAT is perfectly fine. I prefer the quasar except in defense missions like the evacuation. For EAT always leave one on the ground so it shows up on map. Never leave just one (or both) in the support container, always one on the ground so you can find them to make the most of them. Orbital napalm can be fine. It (often) burns a LOT of reinforcements. It requires communication. You also need 50-55m of space to not take out allies. The long duration means it’s usually not great for bug nests. It delays when you can go in to clear and move on. You don’t want a 40 minute mission taking 40 minutes. You want full clear (every nest, every sub objective) in 20 minutes or less. Every delay adds up. 500k is a great choice. At some point … try the airstrike. If you’re fully upgraded, try the airstrike and resupply it after 2 uses for the shorter cooldown (make as much use of it as you can … it’s harder to do with 2 total 500k uses). Airstrike takes out heavies and up to 4-5 bug holes per throw, but with more uses per map. For breach heavy missions … rely heavily on orbital Gatling. It basically cancels a breach, or most of two if they’re in close proximity. And the cooldown is really short. Thermite grenades are really strong if you use eruptor or crossbow. The generic frag grenades have an extra use now with 5 (7 in grenade armor … which isn’t worth it.) They also have a huge radius and got a big damage increase. Highly effective for nests and patrols. Supply pack is generally a trap unless you’re playing support for fun for the whole team and running stim pistol and a couple other things. It’s functional … but you’re not getting much out of it if you’re using it just for grenades .. or just for stims or just for primary ammo or whatever. If you’re getting 3+ different things out of EACH use and burning through those things rapidly … it’s worthwhile. That’s not how most use it though. If your pack keeps you alive (shield gen) or prevents you from taking damage (guard dog) you may find you just don’t need the supply pack. Also … hit points of interest for super credits and you’ll also get supplies.
Yeah I’ve seen the obj failed text. It takes a lot but you def blow up the damn egg holder backpack shit I think if you leave it alone long enough too the bugs can destroy it prompting the same text. The only other thing I can think of is you get a really unlucky ragdoll while wearing it throwing you out of the map
Adjuticator is my favorite AR, has higher DPS than Lib Pen, if you trust your aim then less ammo in the mag won't hinder you too much. Love bringing it with the guard dog now that it has the Lib Pen.
Probably, Devs try to make balance when you have spikes and quiet moments during the mission. So if you already have a couple of rough moments and clean the map, there will be easy extraction...
Bugs spawn at the edge of the map when you clear out every nest, we all know that. Your extraction in particular was probably too close to the edge of the map, forcing bug to spawn on the other side of the map or other edges, giving them no time to actually travel to your extraction. I've made use of this for months, blocking off spawns at extraction works on both sides and can give you a break after a long and excruciating mission if you or a teammate heads over to the edge to block off spawns.
I will confirm this still works. Not sure about spawning on the other side of the map though. I think the spawns are programmed to happen between helldivers (or extraction) and THE NEAREST map edge. If that is unavailable, due to a hellediver standing there (enemies cannot spawn on top of You, some distance needs to be maintained) - spawn just... doesn't happen. Like... at all. You can block the spawn at the very beginning of the extract and NOTHING will come Your way.
i've got to reassess all these weapons. the adjudicator felt so bad to use before the patch i had just blocked it out of my options. this definitely makes me want to try it again.
29:55 I’m pretty sure they still haven’t fixed the issue where patrol spawns are blocked if you’re at the edge of the map. I’ve had a few missions with literally zero spawns when the extraction zone is right there at the border, but otherwise I usually get something. When we full clear there are definitely a lot less than when we rush objectives and leave so I think the game just sends whatever stationary units are left on the map at you for extraction. Since you killed everything already there just wasn’t much left.
Oh yes, they can be destroyed. One time I was checking points of interest on the map and shot a group of bugs, and then I saw, a little late, a Hellbomb. It flared up and obliterated my teammate, the larva, and me in the process.
@@Mute_R6 Aye, especially at higher difficulties. If they're going to throw more enemies at us, they should throw more ammo at us. I'm fairly convinced that there physically isn't enough ammo on the map + supply drops for 4 players to kill all the enemies past about Lvl 8 on Bugs. With Bots, you can at least cheese it by killing the dropships. But Bugs have to be killed one by one.
@@blitzhuntsHonestly yeah it could benefit from another mag. As for the other point, I have my secondary for up close 'n personal. "I like to keep this handy, for close encounters."
But one less magazine and way less damage per magazine meaning you will not end up killing more or less middle sized ennemies with either of those two weapons. The only benefit the lib pen truly has over the adjudicator is it's handling and chaff killing more leniant with forgiving ammo dump.
@@RirimoYT One less mag is compensation for increased mag size, and it's ok for me. Also, Liberator Penetrator indeed has less damage, but with a faster fire rate, it can kill faster than an Adjudicator especially from a far range because it has better handling and recoil, which results in better accuracy.
How do I use the supply pack after picking up from stratagem drop? I know how to refill the teamates but not sure of the default keybind to use the supply pack I carry.
This weapon is so ugly. Ever since i heard someone say "it looks like a catfish" i cant un-see it now. Arrowhead needs to redesign the look of this weapon
Dont take this too hard because i know you were making this vid to show the weapon but imo your play style makes you the worst team mate. Your throwing reinforces into the action, your reinforcing and then abandoning your team mates when they are weakest (without strat weapons). You’re very good at the game but not the team part (at least in this video?

I had a friend with rhotacism. He mastered his speech so well in order to avoid words with the R sound. It was pretty cool how he did it.
Rhotics are a very weird class of sounds. They are hard to hear, produce and even categorize in relation to others.

Haven’t had loads of patrols spawn on extract for a couple days now, after a hard mission though it’s kinda nice to get the free win 😅

Any weapon that requires a supply pack to run effectively is not past B-tier.
Just in general, the maps need more ammo drops.
Definitely agree, but unfortunately, the supply pack feels necessary for a lot of weapons right now.

First nest I think the bug breech near by called the bugs over
Pretty much any AR is useless on bugs for lv10 cuz at least 70% of the bugs are hive guards.
@@blitzhunts That’s why the adjudicator is good. It has medium armor pen.

I'll probably still do some of those, but it seems like there are more people who want commentary in my videos.
