Good morning, I would like to ask you for information to understand better, as I am not an expert like you, in order to be able to control the resistor is only placed in the connectors without shorting bars. Thank you
I would think in most similar situations regarding SRS components including airbag that you could measure the resistance of the suspected faulty component and or check the opposite side which of course should be comparable and you would know what kind of load would be required . To 'fool' the system
your the man :) i want to remove passenger seat in my nissan leaf , so my seat prob needs a 2.2 ohm resister on the airbag connector. how do i identify which wire it is?also the seat has a sensor to let vehicle know someone is sitting on the seat. do i need to adapt that wiring? are the airbag connectors always yellow in any make of car? do i disconnect the 12v battery before i touch any cable ?
great fix!!.. checking my ABS sensor the same way to see if it's a cable issue!.

Awsome😊

using a multimeter to check resistance down an airbag is always a dodgy idea .

Is there a list somewhere of appropriate resistance values for different manufacturers airbags?
Not as far as i know .... just trial and error.
hello , this is only a potencometers ?
Hi , same idea as a pot, but its built with resistors on the back of a switch .
I've done tried everything to get the airbag light to go off how can I disconnect it so the light will go off
How can I disconnect the air bag
