why is everyone being so salty in the comments??! this is so sweet. johnnie taking the time to film something nice and printed out all these questions from the computer to connect with yall. i appreciate him for this!
To be fair, Johnnie did mention he was the crabbiest man in Toronto.
Understand that although he is a famous musician, he is also just a regular guy who has good days, and bad days like the rest of us.
Enjoy his music and don't judge him based on this video alone, I'm certain that he's a good guy who may just been having a bad day.
I've worked in an industry where I've been witness to adoring fan's approaching celebrities all the time, and sometimes the recognition can be very stressful on them.
Remember that his career on stage is only one part of who he is, enjoy his performances and try not to be so critical of this one video.

I think he just is who he is! He actually seems a little shy in person and I swear his cheeks were going to blush when I hugged him a few years ago after a show in St. John's. Still love him and all the guys!
I seen you in 1988 @ kdays with haywire, was awesome. I was 18 then, little bit older now but still love you guys.

Hey Johnnie. I used to co-manage th Compass Tavern in Newmarket and we had you there a few times along with Goddo, Coney Hatch, Harbinger, Alias, Tokyo, Goddo, and even ABBA. Al Dudah was the owner of the bar then This was in the mid 80s when you released New Girl Now. I live in Midland where you recently played at Harborside Park. I couldnt get in.. you packed the place but i would have loved to have seen you all again and said hello. Im moving to BC at the end of September and Im hoping BC is on your list of venues as I would love to get right up front again.

This is bad PR for HMS. The public has an image of the band and this guy and he takes the opportunity to respond to fans in a gracious manner. He fails immensely. I love their music and they still have "it". I just wish I had not taken the time to watch this and I am hoping that he was just having a bad day.
