I loved LOVED this movie. I ugly cried at the ending and found myself incredibly connected to the 3 main characters, which were Bettany, Hanks, and Wright. The whole thing about the beauty of life and being thankful for what we have HERE.
Good to know, I’m not the only one who loved this movie. I saw it twice and was moved the second time if you have a heart bring Kleenex you’re gonna need it.
They've been advertising it in Chicago. What I took from the ads is that they are a young couple, middle aged, and then old, all in one spot. I'm a year older than Tom Hanks and remember his youthful face. The AI of him young looks pretty good to me. You make it sound exciting. I'll watch it.
Saw it & loved it myself! Anyone who can relate to any of the conflicts btwn the couples will be left in tears, I even enjoyed the humorous parts waaaaaay more than I expected to.
Man, did critics get this movie wrong. I was almost dreading taking a chance on this one based on the reviews but I am so glad I did because "Here" is terrific! This is a big swing of a movie and if sappy is as sappy does, then call me a sap because I loved it! After watching Juror #2 and Evil Does Not Exist back to back this week, "Here" came to the rescue and really wowed me.
Definitely different than any movie I've seen. History of the site , history of the families that lived in the house, and history in general. Not generally a fan of movies that flip back and forth in time, but with a few exceptions this worked pretty good. Good to see Hanks and Wright back together as lovers.
Thanks for the review! Radio host Michael Medved gave it 3-1/2 stars and a glowing review (he was also a fan of Zemickis’ earlier work, including BTTF and Forrest Gump). So your positive take surprised me considering how negative even average Joes on UA-cam where being on this. I’ve been curious if this is even worth my time!
Not heard of this film here in the Uk ,but i love anything with Tom Hanks in it. Recently rewatched "A man called Otto" ,which made me smile laugh and cry .,lovely little film.I`ll definitely be looking out for this one. Thanks for recommending it for us.
@ The movie was wonderful. I loved all of the couples portrayed over time. I won’t include spoilers about actresses I didn’t expect to see which was delightful. Family life is messy in good ways and bad ways. The movie is insightful in this way. I appreciated the very clever transitions as time periods changed and I loved that it was non-linear. I’m so glad I saw your review first.
I can not wait to see this movie. I cant believe Tom Hanks and Robin wright waited so long to make another film together. I mean how can you miss? Im so excited!!!❤❤❤
Awesome take, and it’s so great to hear that you liked it! Seems like critics these days would rather bag on a movie than be moved by it. Perhaps the issue is that the very message of this film goes against their mission? 😂
I just unsubscribed from all my favorite megxit channels because the community has become way too sugar-like and toxic. This video reinforces my decision not to throw all of Andy's channels out with Popcorned Palace. I can ignore the megxit bs on Planet and still enjoy his other content like this as well. Good job me for not throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Honestly - I’m posting less there, cause it’s gotten so toxic and boring… not stopping - but only gonna report when I see worthy news… also hope you check my doc - it’s gonna be fair and good
As long as you post it on Planet, I'll be there. I know it'll be the real deal and not just emotional snark and pettiness, and I'm looking forward to it.
@ no… you completely ignored what I said. Which is that critics and audiences agree 95% percent of the time, maybe even more. Which is not my opinion, it’s a fact. Case closed
This is a boring film that it keeps playing forward and backward in time and their stories are irrelevant. Just telling different stories in the same house thru different period of time. Luckily, I downloaded the pirate version to watch so I didn't lose a cent to the film making company for this garbage quality film. LOL, I only spent the first 15 minutes to watch seriously using the native 1X playback speed and I immediately realized that the story structure of this film is junk. Then I needed to scroll my remote control to keep pitching a 5X forward speed for each session of time/story jumping in and out. It ended up with that I spent only another 1 minute for watching the rest stories from 16th minute till the end of the film. When you are watching this film. You would end up with just pressing on the forward-speed button on your remote control. The content and stories of this film is totally 100% garbage.

I’ve never been more emotionally gut-punched by a camera movement!
I thought it was incredible

Loved the film despite the bad reviews.
Saw it & loved it myself! Anyone who can relate to any of the conflicts btwn the couples will be left in tears, I even enjoyed the humorous parts waaaaaay more than I expected to.
Sp glad you liked it!
It's really good. My favorite film of the year.

Gonna see this next Thursday for my birthday. Good to hear positive things about a new Robert Zemeckis movie :)
Great film. The ending was brilliant.
Agreed
Incredible film. Glad to see I'm not alone. Will be watching it for a 2nd time soon!
Based on reviewers I respect, was going to stay clear of this. But based on Andy’s passion, I’m seeing it Saturday. Thanks Andy!!
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you thank you thank you! I totally concur…such a moving experience and i was completely transfixed watching this profound work of art ;)

I saw it in the cinema and it is an amazing movie. Very unique movie and moving stories.

I would like to see it! Here appeals to me!
Blank Check hated this movie - that’s all I need to know. It’s probably good. I love the idea of it!!!
I just watched it and LOVED it!!!
I hope it’s still your favorite, it’s my new favorite movie. I think it will be a cult classic once when it’s on the small screen.
I love it too!!!

Thank you for sharing! I really wanna see this!
It’s probably too late but I wanted to hear your take on The Substance. More reviews plz!
It’s on my list!!
❤🎉 can not wait
I guess this film must be on stream soon.
No it starts at the cinemas tomorrow AMC mostly
Andy if the whole movie is single shot does it make it a record holder for longest angle in a film?
It’s not technically one shot - it’s one angle
@MovieWorldPlus ahhh ok. Well this film wasn't on my radar but I'm gonna give it a watch now
It kinda is though, just played out over millions of years.
Yh. Pretty good...
Its okay one time through.
This movie is so bad that it's good. 2 words... "Relax-Y-Boy chair". Good editing though.
I was not into this movie at all
David here I was born in 1955 so I got the movie 🍿
@chriskneubuhl2557 maybe I'm too young but I thought it was really boring and also the non linear maybe it worse imo

NOBODY listens to critics. If they dont like something, it usually means its good.
Critics and audiences agree 95% of the time, but sure. Keep believing what is clearly wrong
@kyleschneider2957 Again, NOBODY listens to critics, not these days. They ALWAYS say somethings good, when it usually isnt, and vice versa.
@ you just completely ignored everything I said, great.
@@kyleschneider2957 No, I gave my opinion. They don't like ORIGINALITY like this, but they love tripe like The Marvels.
