Since there's NO true leadership from the LA Chief, LA Mayor or Governor, it's refreshing to know that many of the the front line firefighters know how to step up in a leadership role to get the job done!

@janklaas6885 it's not natural that a cars burns surrounded by trees and bushes left untouched. Why didn't they burn as well as in all fires Pryor to 5 years ago, lately fires are like in Mauri not burning trees, plastic trash cans and wooden fences but nails in the wooden fences catch on fire but the fence does not. Yeah yeah I'm a nutcase believing that they are using that space laser weapon in space again, right? But why does a car burn and all around it straw colored dry very flammable grass does not catch on fire? I don't believe that we who noticed these strange fenomona are somehow delusional nor are we imagining these things nor should we be silenced because it's not popular
@user-hw4vc6zg4c yeah, they were called forest fires, now only cars and houses catch fire along with people, so it's better during fires to be made of wood nowadays
It’s time to face the truth: our leaders need to take responsibility for the crisis we’re living through. This fire didn’t happen out of nowhere-it was allowed to happen. Brush had been piling up around the area, and it should have been cleared long before fire season began. The fire hydrants? Bone dry because the reservoir wasn’t full. And why wasn’t it full? The work wasn’t completed in time for fire season, leaving us vulnerable when we needed resources the most. Let’s not forget: funding to the fire department has been slashed year after year. The warning signs were there, and they were ignored. And now, the very same leader who let this happen wants us to trust him with more of our taxpayer dollars? He wants us to believe he’s a responsible steward of public funds? Look at the track record. The railway project, originally budgeted at $33 billion, has ballooned to $180 billion-and counting. They’re projecting another $100 billion just to finish it. Where’s the accountability? The federal government handed out billions during COVID, not only for the railway but for the homeless crisis. And yet, homelessness hasn’t been solved. Where did that money go? Why don’t we see balance sheets or audits? We’re pouring money into a black hole, and the people are left with nothing to show for it. California takes more from the federal budget than it contributes, even as the state leadership claims to be a model for the rest of the nation. But what’s really happening? Mismanagement. Waste. Potential corruption. And while we struggle, he’s living in a $9 million mansion on a $200,000 salary. Does that add up to you? It sure doesn’t to me. Here’s the reality: the reservoir wasn’t full. The hydrants were empty. The brush wasn’t cleared. None of this should have been a surprise. It’s fire season-this is the bare minimum we should expect. But instead, we get excuses, mismanagement, and a total lack of accountability. It’s time to demand answers. We need to audit our governor. We need to trace the money for every single project. Where is it going? Into shell companies? Is it being laundered? These aren’t baseless questions-these are the questions we need to ask if we want to get to the root of the problem. The facts are clear, and so is the solution: we, the people, need to hold our leaders accountable. It’s our money. It’s our lives. It’s our state. Let’s demand transparency. Let’s demand action. And most of all, let’s demand better.
In 2014 in one place almost TWO MILLION acres were burned in Saskatchewan. A lot of cabin owners in VERY remote areas saved their cabins by using pumps and lake water. How in the Holy Hell can Malibu beachfront residents not do the same? Poor planning, lack of pumps, cowardice? WTF!!!
So, surely with hardship comes ease. Surely with ˹that˺ hardship comes ˹more˺ ease.1 Quran 94:5-6 May Allah gives everyone hidaya and replace their lost with better.

I found out that LA doesn’t ever let go of their newscasters which explains why I’ve seen the oldest, funkiest looking people on your channels over these many years. Usually someone has to be pleasant looking to be on television in 49 other states but not in California.

They will have trouble finding housing because everyone wants to get paid. Motels and Apartment owners want to be sure that they will get paid.

Someone started this fire. Who was it? Who stands to benefit the most?
climate change
Nobody benefits. If the fires were started premeditated, it was only with malicious intent/thoughts
