I have a SW220 in mine. It will hover and pull out with authority full fuel. Looks like they updated the air frame since I bought mine. It is blast to fly. Just a heads up, the main gear bulkhead is not strong. I doubled the wood at the gear bulkhead and also reinforced it. I am glad to see they put carbon in the nose, The nose would flex and crack under high loads.
Thanks for all that information! Any chance you could send some pictures of your install and the gear bulkhead reinforcement? (you can email me at juansg.eng@gmail.com). Also, what did you do to deal with the extra long distance for the turbine data cable (from ECU to turbine)? I'm considering doing a custom super long extension, but I'm not sure if that might cause any issues (i.e. signal attenuation due to long length). Thanks!
@@skyboundrc I custom made a 3 wire harness using 14 gauge silicon wire for my sw220. Never had any issues in 2 years because of it. The stock wire gauge will cause issues if you extend it. I will get you a few photos together and send them your way soon.
Thanks so much! I didn’t think 14awg wire would even fit in those mr30 connectors. I was looking at some 18awg cables to do the same. Do you happen to have a link for the wire you used?
Hola Juan, beautiful plane! Acabo de ordenar el mismo avion, el mio es el amarillo y azul. Estoy pensando en usar la Kingtech 210G4 o la Jetcentral Rhino 200. Cual tamaño de turbina te parece it would be the best choice? Gracias
Hola! Ahora mismo estoy usando una 240. Para vuelo normal, cualquiera de esas dos opciones iria bien. Para 3D/hovers/torque rolls, 210 o 220 seria recomendable
So bad that no one is there as a technical support or parts department, they sales jets and there’s no one to assist with brand new bad parts, do service department with knowledgeable person that actually wants to help the customer
the center of gravity jig that is included is a very nice touch . Customers love little helpful bits like this.
definitely! Thanks to it, I haven't had to buy one of those big/expensive CG measurement devices so far :-)
Man this plane is huge! It looks awesome. Can’t wait to see it fly!
Buena presentación y pedazo avión Juan.
Un saludo
gracias!
