  • Check out our Pallet Nailing & Stacking Robot!
In this robotic pallet building cell, we used an #ABB robot IRB6700 with IRC5 controller.
The custom-designed tooling was made with an automatic nailer and pallet handling capability.
This system includes a fixture that is manually adjusted to fit 1 of 3 pallet layouts with more layout options available.
We also incorporated a robust safety system complete with area scanners, light curtains, and safety fencing.
    STATS:
    - 48 seconds per pallet
    - 45 nails per pallet
    - 2.25”-3.5” long screw shank nails
    - .099-.150 gauge
    - Average pallet weight = 28.3lbs
    - Average operating pressure = 90psi

Why not just hire 2 guys who would work much faster, be more efficiently? Or, hire 1 guy and purchase a woodpecker or similar pallet manufacturing machine. That nails, and stacks GMA pallets at the rate of 1 a minute. Both are much faster and for far less expensive than this robot arm that only nails and moves a pallet to a table. Plus the robot is making one sided pallets. Add another 45 seconds for someone to turn it over and place the boards so the robot can nail it. FAR TOO SLOW AND EXPENSIVE! Where is the benefit?
Make one that places 3 notched stringers and 5 bottom boards, nails them, turns it over, places the 8 top boards, nails them and stacks the completed GMA pallets at the rate of 2 per pallets per minute for a reasonable price and I'll buy it. Until then, I'll stick to manpower and machines that do the job for far less than a robot arm.

@@7robotics I read the caption before I wrote my post. If I was incorrect in my assessment of your product, its cost, and performance compared to my 2 examples. Please specify and educate me as to why your robot is better, faster, cheaper and more efficient.

@@livefreeordie9542 the robot should be less cost and more efficient. They sell it too expensive. If i tell you one robot only cost 10000$ for life time. You can do the calculation by yourself.

one robot is slow, but one person can manage ten robots.
