      But on the flip side, they had a job, and families were being provided for. Some simply may not have the education level, money to go to be educated further, or they are simply stuck in life atm taking what they can get.
      A job is a job when you are forced into that position. It pays bills and possibly keeps a roof over your head. I happen to love what I do now being a Journeyman in my trade, I can't say I've loved working doing what other things I've done to stay alive.

    Nice looking EXPENSIVE ROBOT you’d be far better off with a different system, that’s far cheaper and also faster, the OHS is not good, and use of energy not well thought out regarding resting position of nail gun that should be directly in front of the operator and assisted with an overhead reel set at correct pre load.
    This is a classic Add on a system..on the fly versus looking at big picture integration.

    • @DavidD-qr2vn
      @DavidD-qr2vn 3 роки тому

      Robots are not expensive. They are much cheaper than building dedicated automation. The placement of the components done by humans in this video would also be realatively easily transferred to the robot doing it. The operation for humans then becomes loading bulk material, removing finished pallets, reloading the nail guns and keeping the system running and clear of faults.

    • @colinjones5209

      Yeah I give it a year before the people are all replaced. Not necessarily a bad thing if you have qualifications in machine repair or programming, but definitely a bad thing if you're a labourer

    Workers are hanging about waiting on the robot, you could save buying the robot and get the workers to just nail it as well during the time they are waiting, I think they were sold a pup by a salesman, technology for technologies sake!

      Plastic isn't being recycled nobody's talking about it.. plastic recyclers are far and few between and get a small percentage of the plastic that's just being chunked to the landfills not because of ordinary citizens but because of government and cost effectiveness
