They laid this set out. Looked a video set. All those camera angles from 2 levels. Awesome performance from the Queen and her court of musicians and singers.
Even she was older she still has the power, expression, and emotion a legend in black history
Those horns playing placed this arrangement on a higher level. The singers sound amazing with their harmonies. And of course the soulful delivery of the Queen is beyond outstanding, hear the riffing say it say it say it oooh.
Totally agreed. The bass drum accents helped as well.

I personally thought she sounded better in the 90's then what she did from 1983-1989. Seemed her voice wasn't as husky anymore.

Was this not the same year she was hitting the rafters and blowing everyone off the stage at the Divas Live? Also the same year she sang an aria at the Grammy Awards? I'd say her voice was still there!
anjelheaven .... you better vouch!!!.... she probably was in concert most of that year ....A lot of times when singers are they're not going to belt as hard as they can just for a TV show... they'll save it for the concert to avoid risking laryngitis which they often get from over singing.
I'm sure you have splendid voice with power and an upper register with your shelf full of Grammy Awards you critically acclaimed singer...
