Cool video. I'm new to photography but have used my ZVe10 as a webcam for a year. What are your settings? There is apeture priority, intelligent auto, manual, etc - guessing manual and you shoot raw to make the touch ups?
I personally shoot in manual settings so I control the aperture, shutter and iso manually. Took awhile til I kinda “got it” but my order of setting up goes 1. Iso - I try to go with the lowest I can get away with to reduce noise. Basically start at 100 iso and lower my aperture until it’s close to being exposed correctly. If it’s maxed out in aperture I’ll bring up my iso at the point. 2. Aperture- I usually use this to get to exposure but also with the going for the depth of field look I want. The lower the aperture number the more background blur. Sometimes if I want more in focus I’ll go to something like f6 or higher and then bring up the iso. 3. Shutter. Hi Kyle, thanks again for another great vid. Would lens would you Recommend for Sony zv-e10, UA-cam guitar tutorials in a small room? Blurry background. Would be great to have that as main lens but interested to know if a wide angle lens prime would be best or get something like this which will cover most things! 1.4f v 2.8 is a big difference. Would be great to know your thoughts. Was looking at Sony 11mm 1.8, Sony 15mm 1.4 and Viltrox 13mm 1.4 and now this! Haha too many options
Check out the sigma 16mm 1.4 it’s a really good lens and less expensive then the Sony ones. Also you can usually find them used for less as well. The 1.4 vs the 2.8 is a pretty big deal in low light and it will add more background blur. I still tend to go up to 2.0 or 2.8 when I shot my videos cause it is a bit more forgiving on keeping things in focus
@@KyleWattsTV thanks so much. Have you tried the Viltrox 13mm 1.4? Do you still get some blur at 2.0-2.8? If you had a prime lens at 2/2.8 would you step that up too?
@@RiffsRhythm haven’t tried that lens. 2.0 and 2.8 will get blur. Especially if your background is further away. If youre sitting right in front (a couple feet away) of your background then you won’t get a lot of blur even with 1.4.

I see you replying to many people here. Please help me out
I wanna get into true photography. ZV-E10 is my only option in limited budget, where i live, used cameras aren’t in good enough condition to invest in.
The display part you said, it’s not showing properly exposed photo. Could you tell me if there’s any way to fix that? This seems to be a bigger issue than i thought it was 😞
What filter was used on the pictures😍
Man i wish i lived in ny....
wow my Dream Camera😍😍
I've been using Canon 7D for years and decided to migrate to Sony, I'm thinking of buying the ZVE10 because it's more affordable for me financially. I'm going to take a chance because I do a lot of photo shoots.
Sony might be announcing something new on the 12th btw
did you go for it? Are you liking it so far? I'm in similar shoes right now, either go for this combo and buy some extra lens, or I kinda want a7iv which is absolutely my dream camera, but way more expansive, can't deside..
very useful video thanks
✌🏻
Hi Kyle, thanks again for another great vid. Would lens would you
Recommend for Sony zv-e10, UA-cam guitar tutorials in a small room?
@@RiffsRhythm here’s a video I made using the a6400 and sigma 16 probably at 2.0

I just got this camera as a gift I'm new to this and want to focus on sports photography how will it do and were can I edit these photos
Hello. Great video. Tell me what is better for a photo of a6400 or ZV-E10? Thanks
If you need to use an electric view finder then go with the a6400 cause the zv-e10 doesn’t have one. Otherwise they are basically the same
@@KyleWattsTV Thanks. Here's another thing that interests me. Is the dynamic range, noise and autofocus speed in poor lighting also the same for these two cameras?
@@ansarguborev4790 both have the same sensor and auto focus phase dectection points and dynamic range
Hello sir. Will you recommend this lens still in 2023 ? or should i get an adapter & get some canon f lens ?
Yes, it’s one of my favorite lenses for the Sony aps-c cameras
i'm so jealous of all the people who you got candids of and they don't even KNOW!
What you use to edit the photo? And what lens?
Agree with you that many camera screen do not show the actual output result. It is quite misleading to your setting
I edit in Adobe Lightroom and the main lens in this video was the Tamron 17-70mm f2.8
I just purchased this camera and using only the kit lens for my your tube videos. a friend suggested
I buy a sigma 16mm 1.4. What are your views> TKA
I really wish the zv-e10 was water sealed, but sadly since it's not I feel like I need to get the a6400 instead
Do you know if the Zhiyun Crane M3 can carry the ZV-E10 and the Tamron 17-70
It’s on the edge of being to heavy of a set up for the crane m3. It doesn’t actually Balkan e but the motors keep it up. I’d probably go up to the weebill line
@@KyleWattsTV I already own the Crane M3 , but thanks for the reply!! I’ll likely just stick to handheld if I get the Tamron 17-70 thanks to the VC that makes up for the ZV-E10’s lack of IBIS.
@@KyleWattsTV If I already have the Crane M3 would it be alright to use it or should I just stick with handheld? Thanks
For photography would you recommend the zve10 or the a7iii
Definitely A7III
Both are great! If you have the budget for full frame and full frame lenses I’d go a7iii
Is a7ii better than zve10??
@deanjohnvinu6384 the auto focus is way better on the zve10
hey, hope all is well. I just purchased the ZV-E10 (body only) what lense do you recommend for videography & what lense for photography? thanks!
I’d check out the one I’m using in this video (Tamron 17-70) or the Sony 18-105mm good for both! My first lens was the sigma 16mm f 1.4 which is really good with low light and blurry backgrounds.
@@KyleWattsTV how’s the stabilization on the 18-105mm?
@@KyleWattsTV also does the 18-105mm give you blurry background?
@@luisgerardo6977 it can but not as much. Here’s a video I made on that lens
ua-cam.com/video/xaH1rCDpkZo/v-deo.html
@@KyleWattsTV thanks! Do you have one with sigma 16mm f1.4??
For photography which one is recommended Sony A6400 or Sony ZVe-10?
Both are using the same sensor. The zve10 does have a bit better auto focus, the a6400 has a view finder so if you need that go with the a6400.
Hey man awesome video and nice shots 🔥. I have a canon 800 d and I wanted to upgrade to a better camera . Do you think the Sony zv e 10 is better or a canon r10 ?
What did you end up going with?
I am such a noob but trying to figure this camera out that I just bought with the sigma 16. I am looking at your settings, and I am trying to find the last one. SOo in one of your photos it says: 22mm, 1/80, F 3.5, ISO 100. I find the ISO and I can set it to 1/80 or whatever. But where do I set m.m and F?
