Hi Angela - I followed your study plan for my 1L exams and got A, B, B, B - I'm happy very with that :) thanks for the tips! I will use it for 2L too !
Nice video very helpful...I'm a 50 year old 1L and these tips on studying and exams taking are great takes away some the fear and anxiety of grad school.....thanks
@@RailinX Check out Northwestern California School of Law. It's fully online and you have a year to complete the first year on your own time. The best part is that tuition is $3900 a year. So you pay all at once or on a payment plan. You graduate from law school with NO debt!
I’m 36, working on replacing a few grades from undergrad and going for law school myself. It’s never too late unless you’re dead! Lol! Best of luck to all of y’all!
“Not everyone is good at essays.” I never thought about law school exams this way but it’s definitely true. I’m not even in law school yet but this was a huge confidence boost, lol. Thanks for the video!!
I'm a 3L starting my last year and I still found a lot of this information SO useful and beneficial. Just looking to get inspired to finish up strong, and I definitely found what I was looking for in this video. Thank you so much.
Wow advice to move on after u mess up & not let it get you down & focusing on your mistakes is the biggest take away for me. Thank you for sharing your journey 🙏
I’m 1L and this is the most helpful video EVER!!!! Thank you!!! I started January 5 and I started working on my outline at the end of the first week. Honestly, it was so stressful trying to figure out what to include in it. I’ll rewatch this video again. This is very helpful. These classes are so hard and it’s stressful but I love your positivity. 😎 Thanks for the tips!! Please post more videos! Love you!!!!
Love this, you solidified what I knew, and gave me back my lost confidence. Made me realise that my brain is still in working order and that the trauma that totally knocked my confidence (and made my physically ill for life plus ptsd) did not destroy me like I was sure it had! Thankyou for confirming to me that I've still got my natural and learned skills despite the hell I've been through on a personal level - not law school or study related but still affected me so much it made me incredibly ill and affected my memory etc. #maturestudent #trauma #stubborn #lawyertobe #subbed you probably wont see this 2 years on but Thankyou xo
omg I'm not even a 1L yet but I feel soooo cared for! Thank you so much for making these! Even though I'm still in undergrad, this just hyped me up soo much for my midterms, and I already know your videos are going to be what keeps me going during law school (if I get into one😅). These are pure gold.
Back here again ahhhh we have an exam for a 2 credit class in 3 weeks and I'm so grateful for this video! Also, I can't believe it's almost been a year since I first watched this and now I'm actually in law school prepping for an exam! Also, the GROWTH of this channel! I'm soo soo happy for you! Probs said this before but I truly believe you deserve this and sooo much more! Thanks for being the queen and BOSS you are ❤️ Please excuse how chaotic this comment is lol I'm all over the place right now. Here's to hoping I'll come back with good news!
I'm watching this as a 1L going into midterms next week. I seriously appreciate this so much!!! Your advice is phenomenal and your videos are so well made and laid out! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I just started my first year! I'm three weeks in and Ive been feeling defeated. So happy I watched your video!!!! I will get back to you when I kill my exams 😏
So timely!! My school is on a condensed schedule because of covid-no fall break and done by Thanksgiving. Needless to say, we have next to no time for outlining and it's stressful as hell. I appreciate all of the advice I can get!!
I wasted so many years.Started a few years ago with my LLB(Distinction(Top 2%) and now have a Master in Law(Distinction (Top 1%) and have registered for my Ph.D(Law) and PGD(Education) at the same time at the age of 40.I’m grateful to see people like you.Be inspired;be courageous
I’d love a video on your day to day and hour to hour schedule during the law school semester. Did you treat it like a 9-5pm job? Thanks for your content. I love the content related to succeeding in law school! 💕
I will say this about handwriting. If it’s between handwriting and typing, and you’re able to sell the bluebook completely during an essay exam, you were going to beat out that competition. We have this guy in our section who is stupendously fast at writing the exams, both lengthy and neatly. He’s got the top grade 3 classes so far.
My professor called it the November slide. This first semester is a different type of beast. Thank you for the advice. I need to incorporate timed practice exams
Im literally not even finished with high school and I want to be a lawyer. This video helped me a lot for my exams in general, because I didn’t understand the « law » related words. But thank uuuu
Yo. This is the dopest video on law school exams that I've seen. I've taken two law school prep courses and reviewed other videos on UA-cam. You crushed this!
I love your tips! I have my equity and trust & European law exam in august and I am sooo nervous especially if it’s a physical exam that’s closed book. But your advice and tips have given me a little bit of confidence and motivation so thank you!! Sis your beautiful ❤️
I love your videos, I’m a prospective law student this cycle and your content has been sooo helpful and just makes me feel so much better seeing someone who looks like me out here being successful!! Keep it up! 👏🏽🙏🏽
I got all B’s and one A on my first semester ever coming from a communications mayor with 0 studying habits, will definitely try this bc i want to do better this semester!
I am so happy I found your channel☺️ thank you so much for all of these great tips and for the sample study schedule. You are amazing and congratulations on making these A’s honey🙌🏾❤️
Hello I am a new subscriber. Thank you for the tips. I actually came across your video looking for study tips for my administrative law exam for my paralegal studies class. Thank you again.
I love this video! I am prepping for finals and will be re-watching because you are so motivating and inspiring. Do you have advice for new professors who have no past exams posted? I was thinking the next best option is taking exams from other professors. Thank you so much!!
Yes thats a good idea! although it won't be the professors specific style, it will still allow you to get practice in. Supplements might come in handy here as well. I know for us barbri and themis handed out a bunch of free supplements at the beginning of the semester.
Current 1L approaching finals in december!! *eeeeek* I would love a new video including your strategy for getting school work done while keeping this schedule! I have been having such a hard time keeping up with reading/briefing and getting sleep -- would really appreciate your thoughts!
My finals are April 27 so I am preparing so start studying. This video was really helpful in helping me finalize my studying schedule. How did you balance your readings during the month that you were studying for finals. Also what did you do each day you were studying, like an outline, multiples, essay, something like that?
Thank you so much for this video. I started Law school this month and am already stressing out about the final exams. Your advice is very helpful and I’ll make sure to implement it! 🩷
Love your videos! Can you discuss what the process is for obtaining practice exams from teachers? Also, within your November study schedule, did professors have new material that you had to continue to add to your outline?
I’m so mad UA-cam didn’t recommend this to me last semester but I’m glad I found it!!! The first semester did not feel as intense as this 1L second semester when it comes to time management
I love this! How soon do you advise for 1L’s to begin outlining? I finished my first week of Law School and am not sure when to begin outlining or how to even begin… Any tips on outlining?
I Love the enthusiasm for just studying for law school I would like to know did you have issues Logical Games which apart of the test. I found that to be very annoying but kind of easy.
You mentioned three things. Reviewing the outline, memorizing the outline, and practicing exams. You also had three days of studying listed for each class. Am I right to assume you dedicated one day to each thing? ( review, practice, memorize)? Then you moved on to the next course, and eventually the next round ?
Hey guys! I really hope someone finds this helpful!! Thanks for watching and let me know what y’all thought in the comments below!
