- Vlog Number Two - Snow goose hunting was a bust, chickens say bock bock, my favorite kinds of firewood, and I fight with a little trailer!

That last 90 seconds needs a Benny Hill soundtrack. I know that feeling all too well with my riding mower and the various spreaders, carts, etc. Thanks for sharing.
Lol, I made a short out of that segment and that's the music I used!
Those little trailers are the worst! Thanks for the laughs!😂
Glad you could find humor in my rage!
I laughed so hard on the part where you are trying to back up the trailer. Most of the time it ends that way for me as well. It's hard backing up a small trailer.
There's not a lot of control in those tiny little garden trailers!

Know the feeling. Have a great day.
Your outtakes was hysterical. Reason why I won’t UA-cam is because I’d be cursing and throwing things more than doing things. And here I was about to comment on how well you backed up the trailer like a pro! 🤣😂😆
Well I did it perfect on the first try. But then I thought this way would be funnier. Just don’t look at the grass, then that shoots my story full of holes!
I was like, damn, he made backing that little trailer too easy. Then he shows the resl struggle
17th times the charm!
Dude I laughed so hard at the last part of this video. I've definitely been there. Then you getting mad and taking off and the trailer flipped over, I about died.
I'm thinking maybe rig up a pull through path by that wood pile. You'll live longer avoidin' all that stress! LOL That was worth the price of admission and good on you for sharing the 'realities of life'. :)
Normally I park that bigger trailer as close as I can to make it easier to load and unload at the woodpile - but this time of year when I don't need to move as much, it would have been nice for it to be anywhere else!
Ripping around on a wheeler is a great way to blow off steam. I've never done it with a trailer, though ;) All's well that ends well, looks like it survived. Happy Easter, Mark!
That railer tends to handle a roll about as well as an inner-tube behind a boat does!
Oh mate.. I am so glad I waited for the post-credit scene as you suggested. While I had a good laugh, I get it.. those chintzy little trailers are a pain in the... to reverse. I would have been out with the grinder had I been in your shoes. Keep up the great videos, Mark.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You told me to stay to the end. While I enjoyed the look at “a day in the life”, the end was well worth the wait. :D
Glad to hear it!
put a strip of old rubber tube from a bike over the crack under the tin edge the full length
Good thinking! I'm already a step ahead of you - I have a super long roll of neoprene that I did that very thing with!
Hey Mark, I like your new style. Listening to the podcast last week and wanted to say keep this up and don’t let perfection be the enemy of good enough! Id rather have more imperfect videos than an occasional perfect one!
Thanks, I appreciate that!
No problem partner. I was excited to see the “Gunflint Farms” thing take off. We have kind of the same living situation. I’m on a 300 acre homestead in the woods of Alaska, and I was noticing how many similar struggles and chores we have. I enjoy seeing how you handle things especially the tree farm and saw mill stuff.
Hoping to follow along on the day to day stuff a little closer.
Enjoyed the video. Keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
Do you have a link for the new router lift?
Sure! This is the lift I got. All the other stuff - the motor, box, stand and fence are all from here as well. jessem.com/products/mast-r-lift-ii
I must have missed it somewhere but what are" loader" boards?
"Quick loader boards." They help load ammunition into magazines for people who shoot a lot. Saves a lot of wear on your thumbs. I have been making them for a few years to sell at trade shows. Maybe I should demo one of them in the next video.
Got it, thanks.
I burn walnut too!.... and I work in a cabinet shop. I die a little inside but I stop caring when I realize it heats my house
Is that the Casita I see in the back of the barn? What's happening with that project, did I miss something in the podcast at one point?
Man we’ve all been there with a little trailer like that. 😂
