I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
Someone made a clone/fake of this speaker but they call it the "JBL Charge 2 Mini", I did a disassembly video for it and the speakers they used are terrible.

Neither the Charge 2 nor Charge 2+ has JBL Connect, so they can't be connected. JBL Connect only support the Xtreme, Charge 3, Pulse 2, Pulse 3, Flip 3 and Flip 4.
+Guru Tech I bought JBL charge 2 plus. I observed that the sound only comes from the one side of the mesh, where the JBL logo is. on the other side there is no sound. can someone please confirm
