Hey awesome vids dude, I've got one small tip for ya. Get into the habit of once you charm your pet and send it on the mob, you should tash the targeted kill mob first then root after instead of the other way around, simply because lowering magic resist on a mob directly affects root duration. I know how Enchanter's are heavily involved with spell gem swaps and muscle memory and shit so getting that into habit now will help you long term = D
nice tip man. thanks. i always worry the charm is gonna break before i lock down the other mob lol. i will start to tash first and get myself into that rhythm.
The only reason I can figure out why you'd root first is you'd think tash would potentially pull aggro, but it won't as long as your pet has got a few shots in = D. Almost always its the level difference if the charm is going to break and yes RNG, however you can bet if you charm something 10 levels or more lower than you, you have good chance of holding onto it for a good while, charisma and magic resist also being important factors on how fast charm breaks, but nothing comes close to level difference affecting duration of charms. Your stuff is really entertaining heh reminds me of Tecmos.
I try and keep certain factions in place as well. Good thing with troll guards is they are on a different faction than the vendors. so you can still sell and bank even when kos to guards. I also only go to Grobb to kill guards lol. Never been there for any other reason other than maybe a quick quest or something.
Are the nerfs to mobs loot prices still in effect or is it 1999 settings? I know of some low level mobs that drop a good amount of 4-7pp loot and enough on them in a close area to make a good profit every hour. Just found a free copy of titanium a few hours ago. But won't have time to play for a few more days.
i'm not sure about that one. ive only been playing p99 for about 1.5 months. might want to ask on the P99 forums. they'd have more info about it hopefully.
@@RektYou I don't want to give away the info. it was 2000 when they nerfed some of these ares. So a lot of players have forgotten about them. If i remember correctly the mobs were only level 6-10 and people were camping them 24/7.
@@RektYou The trick with Paineel is you need that Warren's faction so you can go down into Paineel and clear the city guards. The ones up top are ridiculous to kill. But, they don't give faction hits. Super nice. At mid 40's you can kill most all the guards. There is one that will rock you. But you can avoid him. The spawn times in Paineel are stupid short, and there are 25 or so spawns. 6 are on the shortest possible respawn time in the game like 4.5 minutes or something, the rest are on the zone minimum... which is like 17 minutes. You can't agro the vendors or the banker by killing guards so you can farm to your heart's content and sell as you go. You should be able to faction yourself up in the Warrens fairly quickly. I highly recommend friendly+ and plenty of cha for max plat per kill.

Tecmos was definitely my inspiration on these haha
Good video! I think I'd feel bad killing these guys on an enchanter though, because one of our gimmicks is that we can make every faction like us.

Paineel money > Grobb money and much safer.
nice, i haven't tried Paineel guards yet. Only been there once before. I'm about to head to The Hole so may try a few guards on the way.
