What about the bed extender position? What is the total length of the cargo bead with that feature activated?

A standard 5’7 bed with the tailgate activated will give you 6’1

But can it be fully opened (with step) and closed by using the key fob only? Why does no one mention if this is possible or not?

It can be opened like a regular tailgate with the key fob. In order to utilize the steps, you have to manually press the upper button

What's not to like. I have it on my Silverado and I wouldn't want to be without it! I have a tool box in the front of the bed and I use the MultiFlex to get in and out of the bed constantly. It's an excellent feature and works perfectly.

Do your push ups with your feet on the tailgate; WAY more range of motion, and much more difficult, all for a better workout!
