    CLIP DESCRIPTION:
    Hatcher (Steven Seagal) fights Screwface's (Basil Wallace) twin brother in a fight to the death.
    FILM DESCRIPTION:
    In Marked for Death, Steven Seagal is told to "try to find the gentle person inside yourself." But he doesn't spend too much time looking, preferring instead to crack the spines of his victims. Seagal plays John Hatcher, a burned-out narcotics agent who resigns from the Drug Enforcement Administration after his partner is killed. He returns to his hometown and finds the city in the thrall of a vicious Jamaican drug gang, led by the nasty Screwface (Basil Wallace). He meets an old friend, now a high school football coach, who tells John about losing his best player and his 13-year-old nephew to drug overdoses. Soon John's family is threatened and his prize Mustang stolen, so John joins forces with his buddy to take on Screwface and the drug gang themselves.

      Too bad it ain’t the entire scene. Screwface gave Seagal a run for his money. At the end he was even going Mortal Kombat final blow by bashing his head against the wall. That is until Seagal had a bit of health left and released his fatal blow and brutality.

    • @castortroy7704
      @castortroy7704 3 роки тому +1

      @@Filthy_Larry Yup. Screwface 2 hit Hatcher with the sword handle, punched Hatcher In the gut and tossed Hatcher around like a doll into several bottle shelves until Hatcher flipped Screwface 2 over onto the ground. Then after Hatcher dominated the sword duel Screwface 2 rushed and pinned Hatcher against a wall using a table and almost won and would have if not for the eye gauge but after Seagal's eye gouge Screwface's twin was done. I don't think Screwface 2 had any technical fighting skills or training but he was very strong with brute strength and rage and a very tough, experienced street fighter at best and a proficient swordsman but no match. I think in a hand to hand fight without weapons Hatcher would've won the fight much easier and quickly but Screwface's twin still would've put up a decent fight and got a couple of hits on Hatcher and thrown him a bit but he would've lost to Hatcher much quicker had it been a straight up fist fight with no weapons.

    • @castortroy7704
      @castortroy7704 3 роки тому +3

      Max Quentero, one of the main villains and crooked cops in Hard to kill landed two punches on Seagal, Donald the Hitman from the Glimmer Man was trained in martial arts and landed one punch that made Seagal bleed but Seagal effortlessly countered the rest of Donald's punches and kicks and battered him bloody easily. Seagal in Out for Justice as Gino vs Richie Madano was just an outright one sided beatdown. Richie was a brawler and surely a tough bruiser against your average person and thugs like himself but no match for a martial arts master and decorated NY detective like Gino and also Richie was overweight, out of shape severely and too insane and doped out of what mind he had left on crack and Richie's crack cocaine abuse gave him an extremely high pain tolerance and stamina. Yes, most Steven Seagal fights are one sided as we know. It's his ego.

      @@largol33t1 Well, to be fair to Screwface's goons, that WAS Keith David playing Seagal's buddy. Screwface 2 put up the best, toughest fight of any Seagal villain. With Donald Cunningham from the Glimmer Man and William Stranix from Under Siege in the same category. Penn in Under Siege 2 got a head kick in. Max in Hard to kill got two punches on Seagal. But Screwface's twin, despite no technical fighting training or skill, held his own using sheer rage, power, brute strength and resilience alone and was a proficient swordsman and a very good, tough, experienced street fighter. Admired Screwface's fight on until the death of one or both of us.

      His attack on Stranix in "Under siege" was almost as brutal. In fact, several movie critics whined that the scene was too brutal. He did almost the same: after Stranix managed to cut his face, he drove one of his eyeballs in, stabbed him in the top of the head and threw him through a radar screen! Not exactly the same but I wonder if he decided to kinda base it on the fight from this movie.

    Seagal was never really tested in the final battle with the villain, he was just slammed into the drinks rack and maybe from what I remember from this he got punched in the gut and face with the sword handle. It was obvious that seagal was gonna come up the winner and give the villain his punishment. Having slashed the villain with the sword, poked his eyes out, both going through a wall, breaking his back, then throwing him down a elevator shaft, that’s a gruesome death and way to go. Basil Wallace was excellent in this and really played the villain well, the best played villain in a seagal film. This was seagals best.

    • @castortroy7704
      @castortroy7704 2 роки тому

      Can't deny that Screwface's twin gave John Hatcher a run for his money though. Hatcher was a highly trained martial artist and experienced cop but Screwface's twin brother, having no technical fighting skills in hand to hand combat, was a very tough, experienced street fighter and a proficient swordsman, but no match for Hatcher. Handed two good blows that stunned Hatcher with a strike to the face from his sword handle, a gut punch and tossed Hatcher like a ragdoll before Hatcher regained the upper hand and flipped him. Bashed Hatcher's head into the wall repeatedly till Hatcher narrowly won fighting dirty and rightfully so using the eye gouge. Screwface was a tank. The first twin might've been tough compared to your average man but Hatcher killed Screwface 1 easily. In a hand to hand fight without weapons Hatcher Hatcher would've beaten Screwface 2 much more quickly and easily and it would've been a shorter, more one sided fight but Screwface's twin still would've held his own and put up a decent fight for a minute or two.

    this has to be the worst way a man can die, this fight holds the title for most violent way to kill a villain of all time. no argument.

    • @jasoncase9481
      @jasoncase9481 7 років тому +1

      Josh Perez Um no A guy gets hung in on a hook and then is moved through a furnace. If I recall right the hook isn't moving at a fast pace, and dying by being burned to death would be harrowing.
      That is cruel and unusual punishment that lasts longer than this death being impaled by a elevator shaft.

    • @jasoncase9481
      @jasoncase9481 7 років тому +1

      Josh Perez It's 1 of the worst ways a person can die but I'm pretty sure what I listed qualifies as worse.
      In a saw movie a person is freezing because not much clothes. That be a slow harrowing death.

    • @joshperez1687
      @joshperez1687 7 років тому +12

      Well screwface got a sword slashed through the front of his chest, both of his eyes pushed into the back of his skull, thrown through a wall, then gets his back broken, and finally thrown down a elevator shift only for a wide metal bar cut right through his entire chest... Sounds pretty cruel...

    • @jasoncase9481
      @jasoncase9481 7 років тому +1

      Josh Perez It's undeniable cruel but did you see Robocop?
      1st Clarence hit with a shotgun, hand blown off with shotgun and taunted then they empty their guns shooting the bullet resistant vest before finally Clarence shoots his
      head.
      In Cobra it's Cobra that puts a guy on a huge hook then moves to a area of fire, and burned alived while hanging on a huge hook that's harrowing pain plus more harrowing pain of a slow death.
      I don't doubt most would agree that is crueler.
      And it's really hard to list the worst way a human can die because someone could list a way that is worse, and slow or very slow.

    • @joshperez1687

    The eye gauge scared the piss outta me as a kid. I was thinking how different kids grow up nowadays because my friends dad rented this movie for us in 3rd or 4th grade as entertainment during a sleepover lol. That was like 1991 and it doesn't seem that long ago but things are just so different now and we really became a bunch a pussies at some point in terms of raising kids. I'm not saying this was appropriate by any means and it totally wasn't but everyone I grew up with that was exposed to this stuff like movies, music, video games all turned out just fine with good careers and families of their own. Idk at some point kids became really sheltered and almost unprepared for how tough the real world is outside their bubble of everyone is a winner P.C schooling and a relatively mirroring home life.
