Untitled Name Gang Merlyn’s verse on J’ouvert along with that beat switch made the track for me. First you hear that percussion and trumpet sample, then “I be in my bag. Goin iiiiinnn.” His smoothness on that track somehow made it hit even harder
One final comment: I said it in my review, but this album perfectly encapsulated The groups reflection on depression, insecurities and their mental states tied into fame and the expectation versus the reality. Great vid. Glad to have ya back Orange Julius.

I really don't get how people think this album is bad or mediocre. I understand it's all subjective but no one really gives any reason for saying it's bad other than that it's simply not Saturation.

Nowadays brockhampton is under even more of that scrutinization due to ameer being gone. People being negative simply to be contrarian.
I imagine the main issue is the production being a bit samey throughout, despite the beat switches. That and a lack of catchy hooks. As a result it all kind of blends together, though whether in a good or bad way I'm still uncertain.
The underwritten edgy lyrics, uncatchy hooks, forced experimental production, jobas awkward lyrics and flow, none of these songs bop. There was something on happening on District and then 20 seconds in it sounds like my auxcord when I tap it. I dunno how you guys don't see the very obvious flaws of the new brockhampton music, especially joba.
-The production really didn't offer anything new. -The songs sound very unorganized and just randomly thrown together. -Its kinda inconsistent -The bangers dont feel like they belong into this album -Bearfaces singing got too repetitive So that are the reasons why i think the album is only a 5-6/10
Ya'll don't understand how amazing Fabric sounded live. Having that blasted full volume is an insane experience. I'm so glad I was at the New Zealand show. Having them play the entire album front to back, then playing all the classic bangers on top of that.
